To all you boner noses ripping my ate wording, it's toughest because now they have to finish. They can't finish 8-1 again.

Ummm...actually they can.  All they (Alfred) need to do is win one of the last two games and they get the AQ.

And oh no...did I get smited by DewCrew!!!

+K Max..... gotta love it. Pep is hoping that at about 4 p.m. Saterday, Nov. 7, Saxon will, for the first time ever, be rocking the Butterfield stands with "The E8 Has Landed"!

From the ATE ...

"Alfred is 7-0 and 3-0 in conference, but has two games left, one against Ithaca (at Butterfield) and against upstart Utica. The toughest test for the Saxons will be in the last two weeks."

So Utica is one of Alfred's toughest test?

Since DewCrew was so kind in quoting Pep in his ATE, Pep will rise to Dew's defense to say that perhaps Dew meant not so much that Ithaca and Utica were the toughest opponents on the Saxon schedule, but that it would be difficult for the team to remain focused and that in the Saxons' euphoria knowing that they need only win one of two remaining games, might stumble from their stupefied Saxonian state.

Pep was thinking yesterday that given current position of AU and Ithaca, it's like AU is all dressed up in a tux and ready to go to the dance; meanwhile Ithaca has their backs to the wall in danger of suffering its first non-winning season in 38 years.

To paint a picture of Saterday's contest, it's like the tuxedo-clad Saxon has cornered a skunk.

There's only one answer to this potentially stinky situation:

DC just you just refer to us as Boner Noses?  Wow... i dont even have a response for that.  PEP... I respect your loyalty but you can put sugar on a terd but its still a terd...

We all know what he meant by it ... he cant seperate his journalism with his love affair with UC....this happens often with him... which is absolutley fine but i just think its funny that he doesnt see it (or admit to it) in his publications.

Sox and yanks-yes many have to either drive or take public transport.
but the scene is really cool and the hockey games are insane.
uc has single handedly filled the void of professional hockey in utica.
and it doesnt hurt that you can have a cpl of beers at the games!

You know damn well if UC beat Wick, it would have been the #1 or #2 story this week...including some long version of if they beat Mount Ida (which would have put them at 5-4) it would set up some sort of showdown against Alfred in the final week of the season, an ECAC birth for UC on the line, and the hopes of a second winning season above .500.

$50 says he still has the write up saved on his computer...hahaha...
