WTF happened to Sammy Sosa...maybe he should have laid off the steroids a bit sooner...

Truly frightening.

He looks like he is wearing a mask...the next Michael Jackson maybe...sans little children running around?

So what's the deal if both SJFC and Alfred end the season 5-1 in E8 play?  I assume Alfred would get the Pool A given the head-to-head victory over SJFC earlier in the year, correct?

maxpower

Yes. The only way for SJF to get the AQ is for them to win and AU to lose to Utica. AU wins all tiebreakers.

That is correct. Check out today's podcast.

All this talk about the AU/Utica game (understandably) but I don't think anyone should think that Fisher is a lock to beat Hartwick. HC has always played Fisher tough, and after watching the last two years with my own eyes, I think Fisher will have their hands full this saterday in the cage. I am really hoping that they can pull this one out, and get a share of the E8 title, even if it is just on paper. It can only help with recruiting and team morale heading into next year.

I am sure that AU will be fine and win this weekend, but I am hoping that Utica can pull the shocker. Hopefully Blaise has one more great victory for Fisher in him.
GO FISHER!!!

The interesting thing here is that the SJF game is at 4, so they'll likely already know what happened (unless the coaches make it a point not to tell them). So for all we know, the game may be essentially meaningless as far as the E8 goes

Also, an FYI:  if Alfred and SJF both lose this weekend, the four-way tie with Springfield, Ithaca, Alfred and SJF would be determined by head-to-head first...

SJF 2-1
Alfred 2-1
Springfield 1-2
Ithaca 1-2

Springfield and Ithaca would be eliminated, leading to a restart of the tiebreaker criteria (head-to-head)...

Alfred 1-0
SJF 0-1

Alfred would win the E8 in this four-way tie.

No prediction from me or from SJFF82 ;)...going to be driving to 'Wick, with no internet, going to hope Wick neglects to post the score (unless of cousre Utica has prevailed) and going to root like AU lost...hopefully the team and the coaching staff takes the same approach.

Knowing Vos, I believe he will go into kickoff and coach the game having no idea what happened in the AU game.  There is no coaching decision that could change if he knew the outcome, so why bother...

GO CARDINALS!

EDIT:  Bull****....I am not going to be able to resist...who am I kidding....I had to know the sex of all my children and I am going to have to know the score of the AU game....anyone want to text me while I am driving to Wick?
