Orangehat,

Morning crew punching in...

Though i will be scarce- enjoy the games boys!

ooof.. cup of coffee in hand and keyboard ready!  PUNCHIN' IN!

So, to cover some of the night shifts rants... Schur is young. I think he may be 30, if we're lucky... But, potential potential potential is the word on this man.  Coach P. might be able to lend a helping hand too.  Being its only Schurs first year it also takes him time to realize exactly what part of his scheme will work with our offense and what we will need to change.  Big things shoudl come in weeks 7,8,9.  (I hope)

dubbs-
whats with the mil best?

Arent you past that stage?

Schur is young and Angelicho is gone, but let's not pretend like the offensive coordinator at IC isn't Mike Welch.  I am not sure of his involvement on each play but, this is his offense not the Coordinator's.  Our offense does not look all that different from previous seasons.

Also, MIOH, I have to disagree.  BY could have been a great option quarterback.  They had to go away from the option because of his concussion problems.  (Sadly, that decision came one play too late against Wilkes).

If you're gonna drink the beast... drink beast ice.  As my friend's mom said in HS "whoever makes that beer in the blue and black can... you guys are keeping them in business".

the key word is high school, those days are long over.

I would like to think so!  but, there is nothing like drowning your weeks sorrows away with a beast light on a brisk saturday morning before a bomber game.  in the words of lady dubbz "oh, this isnt that bad! I could drink this."  thats the day she won the hearts of the MIOH, MIYH, and Tecmo.

Of course after the first Beast light we head on over to Mr. Gordons camp for some UBu and other fine beer tastings........... then uncle yager stops by and dubbz ditches the party and strands mrs. gordon. :)

"Could have been" is the key there... While I love BY... he did put it on the ground a good number of times.

I don't think he fumbled as much as you think he did.  It seems like more because he had one huge fumble.

Sooo... is this considered a rebuilding year on offense?  Does IC have rebuilding years?  is that allowed for the Bombers?  Dynasty teams usually dont have rebuilding years.  right?

The offense has been really really good, especially considering its youth.  I don't think it is fair to call it a "rebuilding year."  Probably the worst year IC has had offensively in recent memory was 2002 (Felicetti's freshmen year).  The numbers that year only dip a bit because Felicetti didn't win the starting job out of camp and then, as soon as he had it, he got hurt during garbage time against St. Lawrence.  We were thin behind him so, I guess we were at least "down" that year if not "rebuilding."

Also, check this out:  http://www.norwichalumni.org/Chapter.asp

They may suck at Football but their alumni club has a good idea for a website.

Wow, a lifestyle huh?

Glad the days of blatz, genesee, piels, and golden anniversary are WELL behind me!

B27: I will footnote that previous post with the caveat that I am not trying to bash your buddy that was the QB ahead of Felicetti coming out of camp.  In fact, I remember trying to defend him to the media a fair amount that fall.  He was just a better fit elsewhere on the team.  The numbers just weren't there on offense under him.
