I love Kickoff again this year. A great look at all teams. Also love the features. Always a great read.

I am wondering how the construction of the new track and field/second grand stand on the visitors side of Growney is going to impact fans at games. According to the alumni publication plans are set to start construction in the "fall of 2010". Things may get worse before they get better for visiting fans.

Pep is hoping it will be completed by the time the Saxons visit Growney in 2011.  ;)

Meanwhile, back in Saxonville, Pep is hoping the stadium seats get delivered and installed soon or seating may be limited in the Merrill Field home grandstand.

On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

According to the alumni publication the work should be done in time for the Bills camp next year. When it is complete, I think I will want to sit with the visitors.

I'm just pissed they got a track team AFTER I graduated...

I do think the addition of the Track team will draw even more well rounded athletes than before a huge reason why I didn't go to Fisher out of HS was that they didn't have a track team...

I ended up there anyways but coming out of HS I didn't want to go there...

Great job on the Kickoff!
I need more time to read it- got too focused on the E8!

The track will and completion of the whole athletic compex at Fisher will do nothing bt great things going forward for Fisher!
The only bump i see is parking and tailgating over in the park and ride will be tough because that walkway will be blocked-right?

PBR...

alright which of you E8'rs was heckling the bills??

BUFFALO, N.Y.,  Aug. 25 (UPI) -- The Buffalo Bills
training camp in Pittsford, N.Y., came to a noisy end as coach
Chan Gailey chastised a group of critiquing fans, observers
said.
Gailey walked over to the railing at Growney Stadium at
St. John Fisher College Tuesday where a group of young
hectoring fans were standing, told them he didn't like their
running commentary, and said his players would not be signing
autographs for them, The Buffalo (N.Y.) News reported.
"They said some things during practice that were
derogatory to a couple of our players, and if you say something
derogatory to one of us, you're saying it to all of us," Gailey
said. "So I told (the players) don't go sign for that crew."
Trent Edwards was the primary target of the group of young
fans and Gailey said he felt it was over the top.
When asked if he regretted his action, Gailey said, "No.
In my opinion, if you do something you tell people why. When we
make a decision with our football team, I tell them why. I told
(the team) why we weren't going to (sign autographs), and I
told (the fans) why we weren't going over there."

Stupid teenage douchebags...

I can't stand when people do this stuff. I get as frustrated with the bills as anyone, but why do people seek out the opportunity to get on someone. Just watch and enjoy.
GO FISHER!!!

fisheralum91

Lets hope that the relationship between the Bills and Fisher remains intact!
Wouldnt want to upset the apple cart over a couple of teenage punks.
