Haha I wouldn't go that far.

But, my freshman year was the Struzzi INT game.  I had heard about the year before where the pick that hit the turf ended it.  So, I'm use to it being a big week.  I wasn't around for the years where Fisher was our Norwich.

There, I said it.

Hell, a few years ago, Fisher was Norwich's Norwich.

Boom, roasted.
Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit.

I respect Ithaca as a program and when most of us talk smack it's just because it's game week, come next week most of us with a brain wont be talking smack.

I think it's going to be a close game (8-10 points) and will probably be a high scoring affair.

I think SJF gets an early lead and IC keeps it close and makes a run at the end.

Honestly SJF's offense is so balanced it's hard to stop, Borum is a beast and Bailey will kill you if you blitz him.  Unless Bailey has an awful day SJF comes away with the win.

Exactly 8 points.... right Upstate?

EXACTLY!!!

37-29

Excellent JU. I also would have accepted:

FA: Of COURSE you have our number! You beat us every year! The Yankees used to beat the Rays every year, now the Rays beat the Yankees. Is that a rivalry?

Yea I've used that dead cardnial one before though.  Still a great picture for this week though!

The Yanks-Rays series was 10-8 Rays this year....

Fisher was everyone's Norwich pre 2003...

2 more wins by SJF and the IC/SJF series will be tied...

No one would have thought that was possible a few years ago...

FA- Way to anticipate that no one would find that funny!

Are we really calling this a rivalry? We beat you every year for awhile, now you beat us every year. I think there has to be a little back and forth before it's a rivalry.... and '04-'05 doesn't really cut it.

I agree. Cortland is a rivalry because there's a back and forth. Fisher's just been an @ss-kicking one way or the other.

I refuse to hate because honestly, it's D-III football. There's enough crap to make me angry, I don't need to spewing venom for a Fisher or Cortland. You want to win, and yes, I would trade the win over Union for a win over Fisher. But unless a team plays outwardly dirty, or runs up the score and rubs your face in it, there's some lines you don't cross.

I remember a game against Brockport (2001 I think) where Darnley taunted the fans and got flagged for it. That got me to dislike the guy, and be happy when we knocked them out of the playoffs, but it never got to hate. You read these stories about how far some people take it and it's just sad. I really like D-III football and the Bombers are my favorite team, in any sport, but the day I take them so seriously I work up a hatred for Fisher or Cortland, that's the day I need to get a girlfriend. Or at least a dog, and some chicken wings

I actually thought SJF passed them already.  They haven't played for that long.

I think it's 7-5 in IC's favor, if I remember from the SJF/IC game notes...
