Upstate - Well played...
I am not a salt in the wound kind of guy- but

Screw Ithaca..............

enjoy at least a  3 loss season

Oh come on- that was only aimed at 2 of you ic faithful

82- great to see you and the fam!

I can take the knock and if I could go back this week I say the same thing.  Screw Fisher last week, this week, and next week!  A lot of people here want to see Fisher run the table and get the top seed but don't include me in that group.  I'll be rooting for Hartwick, Alfred, Frostburg, and Springfield the next month.  Its really not about being bitter either.  If we won by 50 yesterday I would say the same thing.  Oh well at least we have a 3 game winning streak against Cortland that we can look forward to extending...

b3-
I understand the angst but wow.
you have a real hatred for Fisher.
Most of us get along and wish each other the best ooc and post season.
Is it only because Fisher has owned IC in the recent past or is it deeper?

I'm not a "mystique" guy, but Cortaca is always a toss-up. There were something like ten straight games decided on the last play in the late 90s-early 00s.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Ithaca beats Cortland either.  I think Cortland will be 9-0 at that point, with the automatic NJAC bid already sealed.

That is such an unfortunate truth of having such a big game between 2 schools that are in different conferences, and being the last game of the year.  They should play in like week 3 or 4.

I don't know if the NJAC bid really matters that much to the players on C-State. I am sure they still want to beat IC like they would at 0-9. The coaches may play it a little different knowing that they are going to the playoffs, and are going to want to stay healthy, etc.

I love that Cortaca is the last week of the season for the atmosphere when both teams are doing well, and have a possible at large bid on the line or something like that. The late season game has obviously worked since the crowds are always big and the games are competitive.
GO FISHER!!!

Watch out for Rowan, Montclair and Willy P. Nothing is a given in the NJAC. ;)
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

Jonny Utah

Yea you always want a game like that to be at the end of the year.  It matters that much more when it may matter for a playoff spot and you are going to get 10,000 fans if both teams are 0-9 anyway so you might as well have it then.

Plus if Ithaca does run the table and beat a 9-0 Cortland IC would probably get the playoff bid depending on what lycoming did.

Springfield is also in the receiving votes section, so it the E8 is getting plenty of love.

Alfred hosts Fisher. They could give them a game, maybe beat them.

We've been historically successful against Alfred.

We have a strong OOC schedule...

Season ain't over yet.

Yeah you gotta hope for the AQ, I don't see a 2 loss team in the east getting a pool C...

Yep, that's the new angle. Just call us Norwich.
