Poor Losman was just starting to get some credit in these parts... today won't help.

Even though gobombers15 isn't a believer, the Bears defense is legit.  Chicago, and the Giants are the only teams I can see with any chance of coming out of the NFC.

I do think Chicago is a good team. With that said, their schedule is ridiculously weak. I understand they have no control over that, but when a team plays three playoff-level teams during their entire regular season, it will come as a bit of a shock when they have to beat three very good teams in a row during the playoffs.

Also, I see things in Grossman that I do not like. When he gets pressured, he makes some very dumb throws. I'm talking Bledsoe-like throws. The Bears will have home-field advantage, in all likelihood. However, if I remember correctly, they were 13-3 in 2001 and lost to Philly in their first playoff game, and were 12-4 last year before losing to Carolina in their first playoff game.

Like I said, they're not a bad team. All I'm saying is prove it to me, which they'll have an opportunity to do in the postseason (note: I'm not accepting arguments about last week's game vs Seattle; when there is absolutely no threat of a team running the ball against you, they have no chance).

Rex looks a whole lot better than previous years though.  You've gotta admit he's improving and the Bears don't have to rely on their defense to outscore other teams.  They've got some offensive firepower now.

Yellow hat, rex looks better because we can actually see him this year.  He isn't in a bledsoe boot on the sideline.

ER, I know, I brought you back up into the non negative numbers.  Its all good.

Fishalum91, you get one karma from me for hating the yankees, I would give you more but only one per 24 hours.  I despise the yankees with the fire of one hundred suns.

I met his parents briefly at the Brockport game...

Jeff Erne?  He was from Rochester

I was just saying that the Bears were much better than Buffalo, I know November will be a much tougher month than October.

I do think that we will beat the other new yorks and New England.

What I am excited for is the last game of this regular season when the Bears face off against their biggest foe of the past decade in his final game as Quarterback... trying to stop the Bears from going undefeated.

Drew Bledsoe can go choke on a brick. Cost me my afternoon parlay and the Family Football pool!

C'mon now, Tecmo, you bet Bledsoe a) in a big game, and b) against a team that puts pressure on the QB. That train left the station about four years ago. Seven sacks and five turnovers?!? Sounds about right.

Lineback, you won't go 16-0. You will lose at the Giants or at the Pats. Remember what happened to the Broncos about 10 years ago when they rolled into the Meadowlands and everyone was talking about an undefeated season. And that was against a poor Giants team. It's too bad the Giants have an obscene schedule this year, too, they really could have done some damage playing the teams that Chicago gets to play.

Grossman does make this team better, but he has to make it through a full season. Secondly, Grossman was not the reason that the Bears had it handed to them by Carolina last year. That reason would be Steve Smith and Chicago's complete inability to stop Carolina's not-so-potent offense.
