Not to keep it going but since the Regional seed are gone dlip concurrs with Upstate 100%. The top four teams in the country should be the top four seeds.

Looking forward to SatErday,
I think that the AU/Fisher game is an interesting one.
Does Kramer come back after another ankle sprain?
Does Fenti get the nod even tho he cost his team a shot at the E8 outright?
Can AU score on a Fisher D which is by all accounts the best in the league?
Interesting scenerios in any case.
Should be a good one!
5k posts...wahoo!

Our offense has been very good the last two weeks.  However, I think the D has played almost lights out.  I could see this being very low scoring with both teams under 20 pts.  I remember a game about 9 yrs ago against Union we won 6-3.  I hope it doesn't turn out like that.

On Saxon Warriors!!

Merrill Field could be as quiet as the E8PP has been this week with Alfred on break.  Any Fisher supporters making the trip down to Mayberry?
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

Bombers798891

I think this is a huge game for the IC/Buff State programs

For Ithaca, a loss puts them at 4-2—with one win firmly in the fluke category—and their three toughest games still remaining. Pretty easy to envision a 5-5 season, with all Bombers fans knowing Union pretty much handed Ithaca the game at the end.

For Buff State, the stakes are similar A loss moves them to 0-4 in conference, with a long road trip looming to Frostburg, and Fisher still on the schedule. And it's hard not to see them as a team that's one trick play on 4th-and-19 away from being 1-6 at that point, rather than a rising force in the conference. Especially with Fisher and a long road trip to Frostburg still looming on the schedule.

Ithaca has more to gain, as a win preserves the possibility of the Bombers playing the spoiler role in the conference, especially if Fisher beats Alfred and you've got 4 one-loss teams hanging around just below Salisbury, who is probably a near lock to win this week (Sorry Yanks).

Very interesting game at Butterfield

Going back and forth on that now. Probably the only thing I love more than Fisher football is the Irish, and they have a rather large game this weekend as well. I have gone back and forth all week on which to take part in this weekend.
GO FISHER!!!

Any word on Kramer this week?
Is he a go, or is the ankle still a mess?
I cant get a grasp on this game.
With or without Kramer, this one is a puzzle for me.

Fisher by 12...why not?
GO FISHER!!!

Cards- It could easily go that way.
If the D plays like they have been this could be a good win.
Im not thrilled that week in and week out the boys from Around the Nation continue to pick Fisher to lose.
Cmon guys, they lost to Salisbury after having them on the ropes with a backup qb.
I guess I should be happy ther Fisher is even on the radar, but sheesh.

Hey Pep,

Any word on Dwyer's situation ?

Dlip doesn't see the Saxons running the ball as well as they have been against the Cardinals tomorrow. Dlip thinks Fisher will take this one without a huge scare.

Upstate

Kramer is listed as the #1 QB on their game notes, so I'm assuming he's starting.  They've always been kind of sketchy with their game notes line ups, if a good player wasn't going to play in a game they've omitted that part of their game notes in the past.

Regarding the game, I think it's going to be a low scoring 17-14 type game.  Raplee is a force up front for AU, he's probably one of the best DTs the E8 has ever seen.  If they can keep him from causing havoc I like the offenses chances of moving the ball.  If not it's going to be a long day for Kramer & Co.
The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

Any word on Dwyer's situation ?

Pep really hasn't heard. Dwyer will push to play, no doubt, knowing the kid. But haven't heard a final decision.

Get the fight song ready!
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

Through a fairly reliable branch of the grapevine I have heard that he will play.  Whether or not he's 100 %.....???

On Saxon Warriors!!!

sjfcards

That would be a tough loss for AU if he can not play. That kid is really good, and at 80% he is better than most backs.
GO FISHER!!!

Just went on the Fisher site to get the links for audio and none were listed
Gene and Peter didnt make the trip?
