AUPepBand.... since PC paid to get out to LINFIELD once upon a time, I figure I shall return the honor by taking the Metro to see Catholic University play.
Thanks all.

Enjoy the trip -- single-sided seating at the stadium. Be prepared for a 10-minute walk from the metro stop but it's a straight shot (back up toward Silver Spring, the way you came down the Red Line). The distance from the dorms, plus the massive amount of things to do in D.C. will keep the student presence down.

Catholic is an interesting bunch this year. If the QB is on, should be a high-scoring game, but I bet they have trouble with W&L's spread option attack.

I would recommend a postgame place but my favorite place closed and I cannot recommend anything else. Concessions-wise, if they still have a guy there grilling brats, that's your best bet. But it's been five years since I've been to a game at Catholic.

In the case of AU and SJF doesnt the h2h win by the Saxons and their current in region records hold them higher than SJF?

That's what he said.

Indeed, that is what I said.

The only reason I responded is to tell pg04 that, sadly, when I read your post, I read it like Michael Scott would have said it in The Office.

LOL! Whoops, yeah you are right. I should have stated that differently.

It's an ECAC kind of year for Fisher.  At this point I'd like for them to continue trying to cultivate other QB's, finish strong so they will remain relevant heading into next year, do some damage then.

Just thought I'd let you all know Kramer is back again next year. He received a red shirt from Colgate his first year so he is eligible for one more year . You were all acting like he was done so I figured I'd come back and give you this USEFUL information . Go Fisher !

So they have another year to completely botch and be indecisive on whether or not he's worth being their starting QB?

They been building up around metro stops over the last five years. However, I would che www.wmata.com, just to make sure there is no track work. They usually do track work on the weekends because of less passengers.

Awesome...

Can't wait for another season of averaging 160 yards passing a game...

if they have a viable replacement, wouldnt they be better using kramer as a running back.  admired his play last year against salisbury when i saw him play, very gutsy - took a beating but kept getting up.  he did not look like a typical qb and that hurt in that game too.  i know it would be tough to replace a senior, but it has been done around the country.

The show took a VERY steep decline after he left. It's pretty much unwatchable now. Pulling the plug 2 seasons too late.

Averaging 160 a game passing isnt that bad... however, when you have no other efficient means to move the ball, a passing game becomes necessary.  Alfred is a perfect example.  I dont think that Sopak has a game with more than 200 yards.  But when they are capable of averaging 6 yards a run, there is no need for a dominant passing game.

But I completely get your point.  A defense can put 7 guys in the box if you have a QB that can't spread the field.  If I was a d coordinator playing against Fisher, that's exactly what I would do.  I would blitz LB's on every play with D line stunts and play a man under with 1 deep and make Kramer beat you long.  Kids a great athlete but with him at QB, the SJF offense is too predictable and inconsistent.

Interesting all the playoff talk assumes AU and SJF win out.
Any thoughts on UC keeping Raplee and company out of the pocket long enough for
Benkwitt to put up 300+ and 4-5 td's?
I know UC won't be able to run on them...

Wow,
Im very glad that Kramer is coming back!
In whatever capacity it is, he will be the star of the team.
If there is someone that steps up and shows better proficiency at QB, fine.
I will say this tho- It isnt Fenti.
Not even close.

Question for my sjfisher friends. I'm looking for a pizza..wings..sub place that delivers to sj fisher on sat afternoon (this sat to be exact). Looking to feed about 20 folks near 4:30. The plan is to spend around $150.00.

Would like a place that may offer a discount. Also will have tax exempt forms. Not having a bunch of luck reaching anyone at Fisher after 5 to answer this question.

Feel free to p.m. me also!

Thanks MrCardinal. Worked out perfectly. I spoke to the manager "Aaron" and he is glad to have our business...with a 10% discount included!

Bengals-

Try Guys Pizza right around the corner from Campus-

http://www.guyspizzaco.com/acorn.php?page=locations&city=pittsford

They have provided pizza for all the SJF players after the courage bowl this year at the Booster Club tailgate without a problem and they have even delivered to the pregame parking lot tailgates for a couple games for us parents.

I have only had their sheet pizzas but I think they are pretty good.

Thanks MrCardinal. I spoke to the manager "Aaron" and he was glad to have our Business...with a 10% discount included ;)

I like UC's offense a lot but their D is kind of suspect...

They allowed an average of 44 points to Bart, Ithaca and Buff State...

They'll need to get in a hell of a lot of shoot outs to pull off some upsets in the next three weeks...
