"Love your neighbor" on the football = Help him up after you have knocked him on his rear and shake his had and tell him "good game" after you beat him.  ;D

This right here! +k

I don't see SJF scoring 26 and I don't see you holding UMHB to 23.

"Behind QB Tyler Fenti, SJFC has thrown the ball well. That might be their best option, even in bad weather, as the Cru (63 y/g, four rush TDs allowed all season) is built to stop the run. Six defenders have double-digit tackles for losses, and and Fisher only averages 3.6 yards per carry this season — 4.4 by top back Cody Miller — anyway. Meantime, Cru RB Elijah Hudson, who has missed three games this season, appeared at full strength last week, with 23 carries for 136 yards against Rowan."

No offense against Rowan, which played well on Defense all season, but they are not SJF, both offensively, defensively, or special teams wise.

Wow Dlip loves the confidence...maybe not the lack of reality but definitely the confidence. +k 82!

Also UMHB fans are reminding Dlip of Alfred fans, classy and experienced. Lots of respect for the cry faithful. With that said let's go FISHER!

On the ASC board they were somehow talking about gynecology. I guess that's another kind of "Juke".

Tap, tap....is this thing on?
GO FISHER!!!

Yeah, despite popular opinion, not all east teams are the same garbage product...

Sure SJF probably gets beat...

Probably by 20+ pts...

But to just throw them in with Rowan (a team that hasn't been "Rowan" in almost a decade) that averages 20pts a game and gives up 19 points a game vs a down NJAC schedule is a disservice to SJF...

IDHO the Profs were just not that good this season period. Not bad...but not all that good ya know?

Agree...

Weeks 8, 9 & 10 for Rowan they went 3 and 0 and the combined offensive point totals for those three games? 37points...

My prediction for SatErday's game:

UMHB- 37
SJF- 24

I think SJF's offense will surprise you. They have a good sized O-line (LT- 6'4" 280, LG- 6'3" 325, C- 6'1" 255, RG- 6'2" 300, RT- 6'4" 270) and love to run inside zone to chew clock and make LBers creep towards the line of scrimmage to allow passing lanes behind them. Their TE is 6'4", 270 and is basically an extra Tackle on the field. Their two threats at WR compliment each other nicely. Nigolian is 6'3", 200lbs and can jump out of a gym. He's great at posting up defenders and using his body to shield the ball from the DB. The other WR, Francis, has decent size at 6'0" and 180 but can fly.

Fenti can chuck the ball but can also throw back shoulder throws with accuracy. He's made really good decisions on the year (Completed 65% of his passes and has a 2.3 INT% on his pass attempts). He's mobile, he wont wow you with speed but slides in the pocket to let plays develop.

I'm not saying they're going to come in and drop 40pts and win in a shoot out but these guys aren't dog meat.

I agree. Getting Rowan in the second round is a gift. They're Ithaca minus the special teams unit from Heaven but with a very good running back. But one-dimensional teams like that are going to get killed because you can take that RB out of the game easily and they have no answer. There's a reason they only threw the ball 15 times despite trailing 35-6 at halftime. I was a bit surprised at the 59 points allowed, but considering there were two non-offensive TDs and 24 points scored off drives that started in Roawn territory...I mean, that's hard for a defense against an offense like that.

Fisher loses, IMO, but it's not some embarrassing game. 35-13 UMHB

Rowan also lost to Morrisville by 20 points. Not saying that is indicative of what Rowan is as a team, but still, that is pretty bad.

Alright -- I've tried to keep quiet as long as possible but I'm bleeding Cardinal Red in anticipation of this game and am not keeping quiet any longer!!!!!!!

Here's a position that will seem preposterous to most, but here goes:

Unprovable Position #1: If SJF, IC, Bethel, Wabash et al. were in the ASC, they'd run the tables year in and year out just like MHB does.  That conference is somewhere below LL and slightly above MASAC.

Provable Position #1: Where MHB's playoff runs have ended the last 8 seasons have been no different than: SJF, AU, STU, Bethel, Cortalnd, North Central and the rest of the country has met their end: 2nd Round, Qtrs, and Semis vs. MUC, UWW, Linfield and Wesley.

Absurd Read Through #1: MHB is a top program, but NOT elite. Elite programs punch through (UWW in '07 for example said make room for one more) -- they haven't, just like rest of country.

Provable Position #2: SOS favors the Cards

Position that will be proven or denied by 4'ish PM EST: SJF D shows that the MHB O can be slowed. And that be it freezing rain, snow, hot, or cold that the SJF balanced O can execute. . . . .  SJF Wins.  24-21.
