You lose your job for that at a higher division.

Coming off last weeks fiasco I would say that no matter what level the coach is at that they should probably step aside...
The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

This is Cortland's 18th year with this head coach I just read.  Perplexing !!  ???

Looks like Hartwick is going to choke their way into the E9's first loss of the season.  They were up by 5 with a little over a couple minutes left, driving with first and goal on the four yard line.  They end up losing yards and eventually get their field goal attempt blocked.  M-State proceeded to effortlessly march the ball down the field with 2 minutes left to take take the lead.

If Salisbury can beat Wesley tonight it will still be another excellent weekend for the conference.

Happy for the conference, but man, you have to feel for union at this point. But as we learned with st Lawrence in 2010, conference play is a whole new season. Spirits up, Dlip!

Apparently, there was a little indecision about getting the FG unit on the field, and then they tried to run a fake before everyone got set.

But look, unless he loses the locker room completely, he shouldn't and won't be fired. He's a veteran coach who has given them a lot of success and owns a four game winning streak over IC. Remember guys, cortland used to be *dreadful* and IC owned them. He's  the best coach they've ever had. These two games are stunning, but that doesn't undo all his success

The NJAC starts in 2 weeks. I'm not in love with the Cortland coach, but rest assured they will be ready for conference play. If they were 0-2 in conference that would be a different story. He sure knows how to beat Montclair and in all fairness he is doing something right.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

That is what makes the last two weeks so confusing. Coach McNeil is a good coach and has been for a long time. The last two weeks are so far out of left field that you have to wonder what is happening behind the scenes.
GO FISHER!!!

Salisbury is getting killllllled right now.  Maybe they aren't that good this year?  Maybe it's a fluke.

After allowing 30+ against CNU and now this, I think it's safe to say the defense has major issues. No excuses for Fisher this year. They need to take Salisbury down
