Like cards said it looks like Fisher shuffled the O-Line, they took their RT (Dominic) and made him the starting LG an took their backup RT (Demos) and elevated him to starter...

Agree very much with the move, Demos has really quick feet and Dominic can get push in the run game. Dominic was good in his short sets in pass pro but if he needed to get depth vs speed rushers he struggled...

The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

Gosh, Pep thought all you Fisher guys were fans, but it appears you are the Fisher coaching staff!! Nice adjustments to the O-line.

Pep will be interested in the Courage Bowl being at Brockport. In the first football game ever under the lights last year, Homecoming to boot, there was an announced crowd of 5,000 that looked more like at least 7,000 in a stadium that holds 11,000. Pep was unable to attend that game as he was involved in a wedding but watched the second half on the webcast and witnessed the Saxons erase a 28-0 deficit and win, 34-28 in OT.

Pep is thinking attendance at this year's Courage Bowl could set a record if the Golden Eagles have support similar to that shown at last year's Homecoming.

I've learned to never get too excited about non-conference play here at Buffalo State. That's why I haven't posted until now. But now its E 8 time, and I'm excited! This is when the games count for league supremacy! My beloved Bengals are off to a 2-0 start and Alfred is coming to Coyer field for homecoming! The pre-season 4th place vs the preseason 6th place (coaches prediction). Plus I get to see "Pep" in his regal colors!! Coach Boyes has the team feeling real good about themselves. If they can keep the scoring up ( 55.5 pts per), and lessen the opponents scoring (giving up 40 pts per), then anything is possible.

Go BENGALS!! ;)

See you Saturday Pep! :)

Pep would love to be there except Pep is "Second Best Man" for an Oct. 4 wedding and the groom and company have a bachelor's camp out Friday night and Saturday. Pep has yet to hear whether AU can muster a band but the drummer is a Buffalo boy and plans to be there with his folks for AU Family Weekend. Perhaps a few instrumentalists will tag along....

Or, on second thought, perhaps Pep will take dem boys hostage and drag them off to Buffalo for a football game! Who gets married during football season, unless, of course, the ceremony is on the field during halftime?

On Saxon Warriors!

Something tells me that there will be a "pep" sighting this weekend. I could be wrong!!

If you see (and hear) a purple bass drum with a Li'l Alf character on the front of it, you'll indeed have your "pep" sighting. Stay tuned!

I will be on the look out! :)

I saw somewhere that Brockport is expecting a sell out. I can't remember if it was through facebook (fisher boosters') or what. I was shocked to see that since the stadium is huge. Should be a fun game.
GO FISHER!!!

Pep is thrilled that Fisher has found a good foe in Brockport State for the Courage Bowl and is confident the Golden Eagles are a "keeper" for the game, a natural rivalry and two football programs that have an interesting history. With Brockport State now in the Empire 8, the game also brings with it significant conference championship and, thereby, playoff implications to the turf. While UR carried the ball for the Courage Bowl's initial existence, and AU filled in to "pass along the baton," Pep believes Brockport State will establish consistency to the Courage Bowl.

Hats off to all involved....

I would personally be a fan of Fisher forever keeping their perfect courage bowl record in tact.  I see some of the d3football.com prognosticators leaving the door open for a possible upset.  Although it seems like Ithaca is the hotter pick to potentially lose this week as they face off against the Fighting Boltuses.

That is awesome for the game and Camp Good Days. I love the idea of Brockport and Fisher playing in front of huge crowds each year, I just wonder if someone will want to put the game back at Sahlen's Stadium if they have that big of a crowd this weekend?

Personally I like the on campus feel, but I understand the draw for the bigger stadium. Either way I am excited to have Brockport in the mix, and can not wait for SatERday.
GO FISHER!!!

Well Ithaca certainly proved the people who bet against them wrong.  They walloped Hartwick.

Buffalo State and Utica both fail the reach their out of conference offensive outputs in the first week of E8 play.  No surprise there.

Awaiting the Fisher game in a little while.  Here is to hoping it is an exciting game!

fisheralum91

Just got back from the UC game.
I was not impressed with UC at all.
Their D is not great and the O is certainly not as advertised.
This is a not a step forward for Blaise....Not even a lateral......

Too bad....The atmosphere was good!

Bombers798891

Yeah, so Hartwick is terrible.

I don't know another way to describe it. Ithaca won 42-7, and they had a touchdown called back. The Wick's only score came in garbage time. Ithaca's third string kick returner took the ensuing kick back 54 yards before IC ran out the clock. Ithaca never puntedd

IC's quarterbacks were 21-for-26. Bomber freshman RB Tristan Brown had 134 hards, and Shawal Abdur Rahman ran for 71. Greg Bell, coming off a 330-yard game, had eight carries for 13 yards.

Pretty much the perfect game for IC, but seriously, I don't think Hartwick is good at all

Congrats to Pep and the Pioneers today.  I thought that my Bengals were ready for Alfred but I was wrong.  Hopefully we can get back on track vs Salisbury next weekend at home!!
