Watched endings of Cortaca, then  UMU/JCU(obviously elite squads), Bethel/Augsburg and then Oshkosh/Platteville...all great endings in D3. Some day I will get a life. Does Fisher have any chance now with Bethel and Platteville losing? Watched portions of Del Val lose to Widener and SJF is a better team IMO, as Del Val has a sub par defense, but I guess 2 losses is tough to make up against a 1 loss team?

You may be correct about Fisher compared to Del Val, but Del Val is going to get in.  Unless of course Fisher makes it in again, this time over Del Val.  Del Val will officially be "Wabashed" in that scenario.  Part of me wonders even if Fisher were more deserving, would the human element come into play?  Where the committee would be like "We just let them in last year with two losses.  Time to spread the love."

I know that love spreading isn't official selection criteria, but it's yet another reason why it seems not in the cards for the 'Cards this post season.

There is no real "eye test" so even if Fisher were markedly better than Del Val unless it shows up in the criteria it doesn't matter. I think the poor record of the conference champion may even hurt Fisher. Also, They don't have a 13 person committee that supposedly watches every game  ;)

there were a handful of 2-loss teams "on the bubble"  -- two of them lost today Betel and UWP, and North Central is in the North where they are already getting two at larges .. . not out of the question

I still don't think Fisher has done enough to get in, but today did not hurt their chances. I will at least watch the selection show now.

Will be interesting to see what they'll say tonight on the "Bracketology" show...

Fishers SOS is really high...

We really need to hope Buff St and Utica get ranked in NCAAs final RR to help boost Fishers resume...

I don't see it happening but there's a very slim chance they get in...

Regardless of tomorrow's outcome and next weeks oppnent the health of Fenti and Nigolian are Fishers biggest question marks right now...

Regarding Fenti getting hurt - I thought once Catan settled down he did a fine job.  Fenti had a shaky Buff State game and an awful game against Ithaca without Nigolian.  I've been interested in seeing Catan play ever since I found out a couple of years ago we had a QB from Georgia coming to the team.

I'm interested to see when the ECAC bowl games are announced.  It would be nice to play against a team that isn't something akin to a Husson.  That's all I ask.

Also interested to see who Ithaca will face in the first round, and what team Hobart will play in the 2nd round.  I think they can win against whatever team they play in the first round due to seeding, but I think their ceiling is as high as playing a team like John Carroll, Wartburg, St. John's, etc.  I don't think Rochester making a game against them has to inspire a lot of confidence once they start playing legitimately talented teams.  So it'll be fun to see how the bracket shakes out!

Let's go East region!  Hope somebody makes a statement this year!

Booby - Our true Eastern brethren, Wesley, will make a statement this year!!!! As I've said numerous times, the middle of Delaware was, is and always will be the geographical East...........to be solidified next year as a member of the NJAC :)

Kind of bummed Naton got hurt earlier in the year, he impressed me last year vs Buff St making some big time throws.

I'm glad Catan got the job done yesterday but he really needs to hold onto the ball!

Just like Hassanian in 2011 our third string QB got the job done when called upon!

Will be interesting to see how tonight plays out. Fisher was in the discussion or the last pool C bid last night and they came up a few votes short. It's a long shot they get in but it's a shot!

Also, think Hobart could make it to the 3rd round if they play a team like Johnny Hopkins or W&J in the 2nd round.  Of the upward drifters in the top 25 I think Hobart is the best of them.

And I agree about the true geographical implications regarding Wesley Jmcozenlaw!

Probably zero chance of it happening, but I'd love to see Ithaca playing at MIT in the first round (if MIT is even qualified to play a home game at that place).

D3's mock up projected bracket has IC going on the road to JCU.  That last 5 times an OAC team other than Mt Union has gotten an NCAA bid has led to a 1-5 record. JCU got bounced at home last season, yet they're projected again to open at home -- don't see why an at large team should host an opening round.  Maybe JCU will be ready this year, but the argument of they'd (they being the #2 team in the OAC) be right there if it wasn't for Mt. just doesn't hold water recently anyway (I know people point to '02).

On the North, I don't see three north teams getting in.

At Large: JCU, Wabash, DVU, OshKosh, Muhlenberg, Framingham State

Fram get's in over SJF and North Central probably.

I just saw those predictions, but I noticed that they have SJF in the list of east teams getting in, but I don't see them in the bracket?
