It's not coverage that's a huge issue with Fisher's punting it's the net yards that kills them.

2015- 32
2014- 28
2013- 30
2012- 29
2011- 33
2010- 28
2009- 28

There were a lot of times where they just should have gone for it instead of trotting out a LB or DB to try and punt a football.

Of course, you're right, and I think that's another thing I've mentioned in the past. Sure, 4th-and-15 from your own 12, punt it away. 4th and 3 from midfield? Just go for it.

D-III teams are way too conservative, given how lousy (in general) their kicking games are.

Very well said!

Any word on Fishers unis this year?

Im really hoping that they dropped the USC look but with the white helmets.
Looked awful.

Was I the only Fisher guy that thought that?
And did Nike design them?

Your not the only one that hated them. I think it is an awful look, but unfortunately that is what they were wearing during the scrimmage. The Yellow pants, red jersey and white helmets. The all red with the white helmet looks OK to me, and the all whites are not bad. My personal favorite is the red pants, white jersey white helmet combo.

I wish they would go back to the maroon and Gold look.
GO FISHER!!!

UGH

Just a bad look.

I guess I wont really care as long as they are winning right ? ;D

dlip kind of thought that basic maroon and gold look was kind of badass (especially once Fisher became a consistently good football program)!

dlip will never forget the Cardinals walking out onto Alonzo Stagg Field in Springfield for the 2006 NCAA playoff game. The maroon and gold looking ****ing nasty. In dlip's coconut he said,"The Chris Sharpe train stops today." ...and it certainly did.

My personal favorite is the all white combination.

It's just clean and sharp looking.

I'd wear them home and away.

With the New England schools following the lead of MAC/CC schools now bolting from the ECACs to form their own bowl series I think it's time the E8/LL do the same.

I think it'd be great to take the top 3 non playoff teams from the conference and have them go head to head.

Have one conferences coaches do a random draw for opponents from the opposite conference and then rotate the selecting conference yearly.

Would have loved to see a SJF/RPI, Alfred/WPI and Buff St/Hobart match ups after last season instead of trotting them out to an empty stadium hundreds of miles away.

Couldn't agree more. I used to make a point to try and get to the ECAC bowl games if they were at Fisher or within driving distance to see teams I don't always get a chance to see. It would be so much better to see teams from within the state play and have them on campus so fans could get to the games. Way better than last years set up.
GO FISHER!!!

I'd like to see the NJAC involved in this as well. You guys can handle them well enough, especially if the top two get taken to the big dance.

I'm the old crankpot I guess. Lousy upstate NY weather + Thanksgiving week keeping away most/all fans + Iffy motivation (at times, and we all can remember instances where that was the case) = I'll pass unless it's an NCAA game
