Tags....its been hit on a number of times, but really the Springfield option is an animal unto itself.  I have seen it four times, and John would have seen it more and I think jose as well.

I think you'll be surprised as to how effective and confusing it is.  You mentioned a team cannot be affective only throwing the ball 5 times...but trust us, they are VERY affective.  Talk next week about this and I think you'll have a different opinion (regardless of the outcome).

That being said, If SJF can stop them once or twice then they can easily win.  Expect a very high scoring game though.

Realistic- I'm open to the fact that it's a tough offense to stop. In fact, I believe Fisher will probably have their hands full... I just cannot make myself fathom how at the college level a pure option offense will be able to produce enough against a good defense to win without the threat of throwing to spread the defense out.

I will however listen to yourself & others who are attesting to this offense and have seen it first hand. I'm not narrow minded enough to think that I can make accurate comments without seeing them in action.

I am going to look past this as just more evidence that you are a green program unsure how to win.  Most of the Fisher posters have been very rational (FA91, Booby, TOUS, even Superman to some degree).  But the rest appear unable to do anything but cry for respect and wish you were IC.  This is just what another Fisher poster was talking about (maybe it was TOUS...not sure) a few weeks ago when he said he was getting bombarded with emails from coaches/fans/players for critiquing the coaching staff in public.

Grow up and learn to win.

Im not so sure, i mean I've only gotten one email from a fisher rep (their SID) and even though it had something to do with what I said on here, it was only about the new website.  

Every so often you'll get a loose cannon on here, but as a whole they've grown up on and off the field.

I've always had this debate with the Rochester kids, Im from WNY then I move to this retarded place called Rochester.  This my friends is NOT the real WNY....

What do the newspapers call their football all star teams?

Rochester- The All Greater Rochester Team

Buffalo- THE All WESTERN NEW YORK TEAM


Rochester is the middle child of the "Up State" region, their not the Western part and their not quite the Central part....

Maybe thats why their Political leaders are doing stupid things to get attention, ie. the "Fast" Ferry.....

Watching SJF put the clamps on it from the stands in 04 was fun to watch. 

Coach Faggiano had a great game plan vs them and made sure they played assignment football.  He did something interesting, instead of putting a LBer at Saftey to give the team a better defender vs the run he put a 3rd DE on the LOS, playing with a NT and 3 DE's. to give the team more speed up front.  That was the break out game for Shawn Crandall (the 3rd DE) that led to his strong finish in 04 and great season in 05.

However, that team would put the ball on the carpet a ton.  They had a ton of turnovers and SJF scored TDs on the series after the turnover.  If Springfield doesnt turn it over its going to be a great game.  If they do turn it over it could be a long day for SC's D.

Still sticking with my prediction of 35-24 (SC scores 3 times and makes three two point conversions).....

Those political leaders were ousted over a year ago. AND Baltimore just overtook Rochester for most gonnorhea per capita in the US. So take that buddy! And watch out for Fisher girls!

Im going by the FKS (Fat Kid Scale) when grading girls and I was still not impressed with those ast SJF.
