Was hoping he was but those hopes faded after the first game he played in...

Listened to the podcast this morning and it appears their were some concerns regarding Brockport and their wins over Cortland and Utica. If I'm not mistaken, isn't Utica pretty solid this year, they only loss each game by an avg of 10/11 points. Should there be concerns or is this a testament of a stronger conference?

Upstate,
the coaching staff was extremely high on Jake.
Kid has a great arm, but the fit didnt seem quite right.
Unsure how the team proceeds.
Tho---there is that possibility that Fisher wins 3 games instead of 2 :P

The win over Utica was one of those fluky things where a team gets dominated statistically, and the game just ends up close for random reasons. Brockport outgained them by 400 yards and had a 26 to 8 edge in first downs.

The Cortland game, I'd agree with you. I think it's a testament to how good Cortland is. Of course, like Ithaca, it won't matter, because they have a second loss

I don't know if it was the line not blocking but he was gun shy and didn't want to pull the trigger on throws. He took a beating early and I don't know if he'll recover from that...

I never knew what the injury was that knocked him out.

He did look shell shocked in the games he did play tho......

Who knows- if the O line shores up a bit- he may settle in...He has a cannon for an arm--Id like to see him use it- especially with a decent crop of receivers going forward

No concerns at all. First off Cortland is a very good team. First downs were 26-12 and total yards was 470-230 both in favor of Brockport. Brockport had 2 brain farts on special teams that cost them big time giving Cortland 10 pts. Cortland was also 0-15 on 3rd down. They will be giving some players plenty of rest the next week and a half as well.Tyree Brown and Jake O'Connell will most definitely sit out again this week after exiting the first quarter of the utica game. Brockport is just fine!!

Cortland was terrible on third down. But 3 of 3 on 4th down. That's the stat that almost bit Brockport on the ass as C St converted 2 big 4th downs on that last drive to knock on the end zone door.  Hearts were  in throats at that point.

I think the concern is just to see BP able to score / separate more like we did earlier in the season. They have the talent, but for some reason have looked a bit off the last couple of weeks. SUNY-Mo won't be a pushover so they can't afford to mail it in Saturday.

I guess no Rat Poison in Brockport.

Cortaca Jug to MetLife Stadium in 2019 with a goal of breaking the 37k+ from Tommie-Johnnie last year.
What's normal attendance for Cortaca on campus? Around 10k? And MetLife is 3.5 hours away from each campus? This should be an interesting spectacle.

XREDDRAGON77

Just saw a tweet about it. Then saw it posted to IC's webpage. Should be interesting!
Taste It!

I dont know guys- maybe im old, a purist or frankly just grumpy when it comes to change but Met Life Stadium?

There is something to be said about having the games on campus.
