Any chances of Norwich or Hartwick knocking off Springfield?

:'(
Any chance of a Fisher-Pride rematch in the rain, on grass....in the mud....?

No. Both teams have turf fields.

Actually the IC win does not help SJF.....

SJFF82

The IC win creates a three way tie at the top of E8.  Plus now Springfield is one loss from a Fisher E8 title with the tiebreaker over IC.  There is the line of thought though that a Springfield win over IC today would definately knock IC out of play-offs making one more spot available for Fisher, but Fisher has that 'tiebreaker' over IC anyway with the reg season win.

The three way tie does not favor SJF, their QOWI (quality of wins index) does not favor SJF over SC/IC.  SJF needs a ton of help from teams out of conference that they've beaten.  UR (6-2) has Bart (7-0) and RPI (5-2) left, not exactly a great way to finish their season.  Mt. Ida (4-3) has WPI (2-5) and SUNY Maritime (1-5) so they could end up 6-3.
Kings (5-3) has FDU (2-6) and Wilkes (8-0) left so they could end up 6-4.

Springfield is running the table, they have Wick and Norwich left up.  Maybe Wick pulls off the upset if they can put up a ton of points vs a really bad SC D.  But I dont see it happening....

That SJF win over IC only counts if IC and SJF are left in a two way tie.

Hey springfield!  Run the option!

IC 24 Springfield 7

good job bombers, bomber fans, happy bday mrs gordon.

Who has said that Ithaca hasn't beaten any good teams?

supposedly the utica commentators last week said that ithaca hasn't beaten any good teams. and that the bombers choked when finally faced with a solid squad.  thats just what  i heard though.

I was pretty sure that Fisher had a higher QOWI than IC, but I just checked and IC is not even on the list???  Fisher is 9, Pride is 1.  All I was saying is that Fisher had no shot at E8 prior to today with Springfield being unbeaten and now we do.

SJFF82

Oops, SJF is 10 and I found IC....at.......87...

XREDDRAGON77

I caught some of the IC/SC game today being streamed and not taking anything away from IC's win.... but if that was on turf does anyone think that the outcome might have been different.  I know both teams played on the slop, but the I scheme is straight ahead where the Triple O is more lateral with the cutting up field.  This was mentioned earlier but any input.

That's why I joked about a SJF-Pride rematch...by the score though it looks as if IC handled them regardless...I mean 55 and no punts against a team that rolled IC and then to only score 7 and lose handily sounds like it was more than the weather that did in the Pride...perhaps they left it all at the Fisher game?

The game would have been a lot different. It would have been more telling to see a solid Ithaca D vs. a Springfield offense with no slop to deal with.

SJFF82

I understand the impact of 'slop', but it appears that IC scored 3 TD'S...plus it appears that 3 kicks were executed, so how sloppy was it?....did anyone see first hand?  IC must have shut them down period...
