I HOPE the players of all teams are reading this site.  Half the crap I post on here is for their benefit.  It is not as rewarding making fun of someone if they aren't keeping up.

I suppose I will concede that Gatto played well at IC.  He had 8 tackles, three of which were solo, and two for loss.  Nothing remarkable, as he tied for fourth on AU in tackles that day, nevertheless not a bad showing.

He's still a clown though.  The fact that the coaching staff made fun of him for his spelling makes me so happy.  Are any FDCers making the drive SatErday?  I propose FDC Spelling Bee in the parking lot pregame....

No dude, theres misspelling and then there's misspelling and then there are typos.  There are certain words that you can misspell and get away with it.  But if you are a student at Alfred, Ithaca, Union, or RPI there are certain words that you simply not misspell.  Saturday and site are two of those words.  Typos happen once.

The QOWI was just updated and it still has SC tied for first (12.0), SJF tied for 10th (10.875) and IC tied at 87th (8.167).....

Ithaca needs SC or SJF to lose to get in.....

I dont think IC gets in if its a 3 way tie....

Should IC run the table, they'd have 2 wins over 2 conference winners (Springfield/should Cortland beat Rowan this week).  I think it would be very hard for the committee to keep them out if that were the case.

Anyway, in addition to running the table, I think that IC fans have to be rooting for Union to lose to 'Bart, Rowan to lose to Cortland, and SJF to lose to AU.

The more 2 loss teams in the East, the better for IC.

My take on the East Region rankings:

1. Hobart (still has 2 tough games remaining, should clinch LL title with win over Union and Rochester loss to RPI)
2. Wilkes (still has 2 conference games left, AQ probably won't be clinched until the following week)
3. Cortland State (clinches AQ by beating Rowan.  A loss to Rowan makes IC game do or die)
4. St. John Fisher (has to beat AU, or will probably be out of the playoffs)
5. Union (a loss to Hobart likely means they are out.  I think a win would get them the AQ)
6. Ithaca (has to run the table to have a shot, or hope for a win vs AU, and then an AU win over SJF)
7. Rowan (win vs Cortland gets them the AQ, loss and are probably eliminated)
8. Springfield (win the remainder of their games, they should be in.  Could lose the AQ if AU beats SJF)
9. Curry (ahhhhhh, the NEFC)
10. Alfred (likely out of it at this point, but once again, can play the role of spoiler, though if they knock off SJF and IC, they could be looked at as a decent 2 loss Pool C team)

phew...that was a tought 12 or so pages to get through for a monday.  The Wi_Fi wasn't working on saturday so I had to keep calling the Bomber Update to find out the score.  Nice win for the Boys in Blue (I love how you can tell if its a win or a loss by the tone in Mike Warwicks voice)

Springfield- 5:15, 317 mi.
Alfred- 1:40, 86.82

I left out Fisher because it's like 20 minutes away, and IC because I can do that drive in my sleep.

Here's hoping IC doesn't go anywhere near Curry or Rowan....
