Knightstalker and others,

Have not seen a single posting referencing Navy's thumping over Army in Philly so here goes:

First time to Lincoln Financial for me and the Mrs. and the seats were awesome - Club Suites C23 row 3 seats 19-20 on the 32 yard line.

The game had as much action as the pageantry swirling around the stadium.

Navy amassed 490 yards of rushing, FB Ballard had 192 all by himself.

Commander-in-Chief trophy will remain safely ensconced in Annapolis for another year.

Final score:  Navy 42 - Army 23.

Congrats to all Rowan fans, posters, players, families and friends.  You beat a very tough MAC rep DVC.  Sorry the Aggies are not hosting the Purple Raiders.

Profs - beat those arrogant guys in Alliance, please.

Gro - tell Grampagro we are all back on the same team now - fighting against Al Qaeda and the rest of those Numbskulls!!!

All the Best

ER, tell Young rob that he needs to ice and stim until he feels better.  I seperated both of ine and I didn't loose too much because of stim and deep heat, he will know what I mean.  I know how he feels, trust me

B27-  Did yours pop and grind for a while after you could lift your arm OK, and how long did you get treatments before everything was OK

bomber27

Well, im sorry to say er but it will pop and grind no matter how good it feels.  It still doesn't feel right now.  But, the good news is that it either stops hurting or you get use to it.  Take a 3 weeks to a month off of benching and shoulder work and he should be good with the electronic stim.  Good luck to him.

B27- Now the important questions-can you raise the arms enough to swing a golf club, and toast around of brews

HabsGoalie33

are there any Bombers playing in the Aztec Bowl?

HabsGoalie33

nevermind big 70 is playing, should have trusted my original thought. Congrats Joe, enjoy it.

ER - can swing the sticks just fine and raising them isn't a problem at the moment, full strength came back quickly but its the later ion life events that probely won't be able to happen like picking up my children(TNdad don't worry, not yet) and things like that.

this advice is in very good intentions... but I'm not sure entirely accurate. Maybe it worked for you, but this is not a good treatment approach to a seperated shoulder. Recovery from a seperated shoulder... first one needs to consider what that means.  A lot of people consider a seperated shoulder a dislocation of the shoulder joint, but in actuality it's a severe sprain of the acromioclavicular joint. Treatment is very different when comparing these two injuries. Did he disclocate the glenohumoral jt or did he seperate the acromioclavicular jt? First that needs to be answwered. no matter which one, a good strong stabilization program progressing to dymanic stabilization is very important. I would suggest seeing a physical therapist instead of just the school athletic trainers. AT's specialize in ice, heat, e-stim, taping, etc... they are very good in the acure stages of healing and right at the scene of the injury. Physical therapists work a lot more with long term rehab like in his case. There are many great PT's in the rochester area.

Trueblue,

I can't speak to any of the medical advice... But I think You forgot to add...

You should have Mark see one of the fine PT's in the ROC area that is an Ithaca Alum.  And then once he gets healed he should transfer to IC and join baez and donovan in the bombers backfield to make for one hell of a wishbone.

Go Bombers

Orangehat: looks like your motion failed.

While we're talking injuries, anyone have a fix for Saturdays without Saxon football?

Did any of you Bomber fans happen to notice that Lycoming and Ithaca recently had a head-to-head wrestling match?

Both were ranked nationally in the top twenty but in the end Lycoming prevailed by just a few points.

The clincher seemed to be a major decision for Lycoming at heavyweight and an IC forfeit at lightweight.

Interesting to note that we compete in other sports - granted not the vaunted gridiron but as I was a grappler in hs I still think it noteworthy.

Who are you guys rooting for in the Semis?

Personally, I would much prefer a Wesley - Rowan Stagg Bowl with Wesley prevailing - it is that John and Charles Wesley thing for me . . .

All the best
