Nice.  I have to teach this Wednesday for an observation, and plan the holiday assembly for next Friday.  That pretty much sums it up for me. I love December!

MIYH,
It looks like i will indeed be back there next year. I have a 3 promising freshman playing on a premier team now, so the future looks good.  I will also have 5 returnign seniors who have started for me the last 3 years.  Still have to find a goalie though.  Slick should be finishing up school in the fall so i will have a keeper coach which is nice. By choice, returning to IC for him is not an option. Hopefully, if all goes correctly, my product line will be completed in April and the team will be in my stuff.

Also, it looks like I will be able to help Tecmobowler in the spring and lead 'em to an undefeated season.

Tecmo,
I say you go to Khumas for the bday.  MIYH did that with me and we had a good ole time.  I dont really remember it but none the less.

Dubby-

Had a meeting with the boss a couple days back.  Sounds like a handful of Seniors he expected to play probably won't be playing after all.  This leaves him with 8 guys (including the gentleman that spun around in circles when swung for us last year).

Long story short, the JV coach will lose anywhere between 3-5.  I put a good word in to keeping our pitching prospect so he'll have another year on the mound, so I think he'll stick.

oh ballz.  not a good thing to hear.  basically what you're saying is the my fall team had more athletes than what we are looking at.  And why are these seniors quiting?  If you and I were up there we would have to have cuts.

I dont knwo if anyone else has foudn this out yet but apparently the Bomber football season is starting a week earlier next year than in the past.  so, i think this meens no Cornell scrimmage.  When the week off comes i do not know.

tecmobowler

Good research Dubby. Very interesting.  That's pretty good news if you ask me.  Having the bye week the first week of the season wasnt really the best situation.

I assume that means we'll lose Lycoming, that will be our new bye week, and we'll play some out of conference team week 1.

I vote for the Larries!

As for the baseball squad, we'll still have a good amount of athletic talent.  Going undefeated will go from a 1% chance to .00000017% chance though.

If we lose three or four, that will mean we'll move a few eighth graders up.  They'll be young, but quite talented, and very coachable.

I wish TangoDog or Bombergirl could find out who our new opponent may be!

Not sure how reliable the Open Dates feature is on this site, but some teams that supposedly have a spot to fill for week 1 include Union, Thiel, and Washington and Jefferson.

I hope we don't reunite with Mansfield.

It looks like we are picking up a team from down south, Alabama region, they are only 3 years young as a program.

When do winter sessions start?  I need to prepare my schedule and the boss man must hate my guts or somthing cus he never responds to my emails.
