MR. N,

You are right and I agree with you totally.  Next year one of my daughters will be in the Blue Band at Penn State.

Joe Paterno and his program is a model for any athletic program.

All teams have some "fans" who need to find their way.

Best Wishes,

Now, With Cortland losing...an interesting decision comes into play...Will they bring Wesley into the east as a #1?  Wilkes is undefeated, but are they really a #1?

like rowdy rowdy bomber... who we may not see again....hopefully this message will bring him out though!

Wilkes has a rivalry game next week. If they lose that, who knows, I suppose it's possible Wesley might be pulled over. But it seems unlikely. The NCAA has yet to do that, even when it's very warranted.

The MAC is a pretty tough conference to run the table...

If they win out, i wouldnt see a problem with them having the #1...

I see what you mean, but with the south having a couple teams that could be a number 1, it is an interesting possibility.....Hopefully the committee will be "nice" to the east.

Bizarre showing from the Alfred folks tonight.  Ithaca fans were nothing but gracious on here.

I would say that the regular Alfred Posters were pretty good, but those that come out of the woodwork.... geeeeeeeeeeesh!

Agreed Port.....the "regular" posters have really been pretty good on here....

                  Wonder where these
"NEW" alfred fans/guys will be after next week's game.....
........or will they even be at the game....?

where did all the IC fans go?

Still here.....
I see some fair weather fans have arrived....

they're waaaaaaaaaaaaaay past fair weather.... Earlier I told one of them that I hoped the bandwagon ran them over...

Excuse me port, i think i've been here the last 3 weeks.  The 3 weeks that just happen to be the toughest.
I was here during the 'bart loss, and i'm here during the ic win.  Note to self: be here during Fisher win next week

If they lose, they won't be here...if they win, some clever comment like KISS MY ASS FISHER will come out...

Many of them still think they have a chance at the playoffs.... Let me make this clear NO EAST TEAM WITH TWO LOSSES WILL MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. PERIOD!  As a Pool C, that is.

Exactly, there were more two loss teams last season and thats why Wilkes got in....

This year there are more one loss teams hanging around, if Bart and Cortland win next week there is NO way that ANY 2 loss team gets in....

However if UR beats Bart, IC beats Cortland and AU beats SJF then AU will have a shot....

Ha, yes i do agree with the GJ's comment.  Horrid selection of girls.  However, I live in NC.  75 degrees here yesterday.

As I suggested on the LL board, there is a doomsday scenario that may force a very weird bracket:

Rochester beats Hobart
Ithaca beats Cortland
Alfred beats SJF

If this happened, we would have Rochester, Ithaca, SJF, Alfred, Hobart and Cortland all with two losses.  In the East, Rowan (NJAC), Union (LL), Springfield (E8), Curry/Coast Guard (NEFC), Wilkes (MAC) would be in. Is it possible that NONE of the six two-loss teams would make the playoffs?  Yes.  Is it probable?  No.  But it will take an interesting decision by the NCAA Committee as to which one, two or three teams to choose.  Yet, I would guarantee that a team or two teams will ship from the North to the East bracket if this doomsday scenario occurred.  What I don't know is whether they would come from a higher or lower part of the respective region(s).

I went to A-State before transferring to SJF, I too know all about those issues....
