Serious question- what makes Fisher's offense this year so much better than last years?  I havent seen any games this year but i do know that you lost farenbach.

Good evening from the land of the "overrated"....sarge...where did that loose cannon come from? Another guy just crawl out of the hills behind the stadium...?

As a Rochester resident (plenty of local coverage), observer (3 games first hand) and a frequent poster here for the last few years....watch what you spew here....

Fisher could get rolling and lay 48 down on you guys.....mistake free football with as good a running back tandem as I have seen and your fall could be brutal....give them their due....and respect.

...or coming back on here after the game may be something you won't want to do....

Look out down route 13.......BOMBERS are coming!!!

2 Reasons why this offense is better than the offense you faced last season.

First, this team is averaging 250+yds on the ground.  They run to set up the pass, unlike last year when the threw to Noah to open up Reile on the ground.

Second, Last seasons OC for SJF is gone.  That means they wont run stupid trick plays, they wont try to be cute and out think themselves.

EDIT: Thanks Tags, forgot about Kramer.  He's better at managing a game.  He doesnt make mistakes.  He spreads the ball out and doesnt lock in on one reciever.  He's suprisingly nimble and will move around to buy himself time or scramble for a first down.

A) Kramer. He's the better QB
B) Robinson is not coming off an injury
C) The offense lost Noah but the offense throws to many different receivers now - especially using their tight ends better. They're not as predictable now when they drop back to pass.

At any rate, they're averaging 40+ points a game. You would have to consider it a good day if you hold them to 30.

I'm going to hold off on saying Fisher will light up Alfred's defense because I can see the game going either way (shootout or defensive showdown).  However the potential for Fisher to score 35+ is there if the offense plays like it is capable of.

Can't wait until Saturday (I've officially stopped with the Saterday but I won't judge those who still use it because I like the fact that post patterns has developed its own culture / history lol)

p.s.  Mr. Napoleone I still smile everytime an Ithaca poster shows Fisher some love.  That's that unity I was talking about baby!  Regardless of how many teams the E8 sends into the playoffs or who gets sent, I will root for them as if they were my own (unless they play Fisher naturally).

I believe they will be ready but I am not 100% sure so don't quote me on that

Guys......
I know your former OC is one of the most respected coaches in this area.....and U of R is rolling (smart move getting Noah on board as well).....I can't believe the collective "dogging" he gets.....

............doesn't he get some credit along with Coach Greene at U of R?????

Wow PepBand +K to you for bringing up scores of Fisher games in the 90's
I was back in the 90s, anyway, looking for the last time Alfred beat Ithaca.  :)

Speaking of not getting along, I've given up on the NJAC board...everything I say gets ripped to shreds, even when it makes sense! I'm glad New Yorkers have some brains....

Even the worst E8 posters seem to be better than most of the best NJAC ones!

Ditto - Whoever is left standing in the E8 I'll be rooting for.

U of R has quietly put together a nice team over there... Starting w/ the coaches.
