good question on the fisher drink of choice--
whil there in the 80's- it was either Golden Anniversary, Blatz or Genny.

Wow-i wouldnt be able to get any of those down now!

While you couldn't pay me to drink Genny on a regular basis (wait, you probably could) I will always have a soft spot for Golden Anniversary.  I had a friend in college whose favorite thing on a beer run was to use whatever extra money to buy "grab bag" six packs.  They always ended up being the worst of the worst....Hamms, Golden Anniversary, Schlitz, etc.....ahhhhh the memories on not being able to afford decent beer.

is boltus leaving hartwick? i heard a dirty rumor about that. if so, hartwick better be offering full boats this winter, breaking all kinds of rules.

Hartwick will offer him a soccer scholarship, and try to confuse the NCAA with the European/American definitions of the word "football".

I'd leave if I was him.  But he already left a 1-AA school to get to HC.  Does he want to transfer again...which would involve sitting out a year?

Didn't he come down from 1aa because he couldn't crack the lineup?

Big Al's also was a great sponsor of Bombers Football on WICB. Every commercial at a quarter break I played while board-op'ing the game was about Big Al's Hilltop Quickstop. Where, you could get subs, pizza, wings, beer etc. etc.

Is that place still even open?

And about Jason Boltus. If no one knows for a fact the young man is transferring, I think the discussion is mute. It's not fair to him or the program to speculate on what he might be doing, if anything at all.
