Back like MJ & seeking formal apologies from Frank & RT.

To save time you can send in together.

OK that's enough rubbing it in, you can stop now before you appear like a sore winner. You got the win, now move on to next week.

Seriously Tags....you are a bit of a front runner...RT never heard of you until this year. Where  ya been all my life? Anyway, congrats on a good season and enjoy losing to SC. Wait....that's right, your defense shuts down EVERYBODY according to Mark Robinson so Springfield shouldn't be a problem again for you since they weren't last time either. Seriously...lets move on to hearing how confident you are you'll get past SC. Obviously Union sucked today...I would've liked to see them win to help my conference but I went to RPI so I don't think I owe you any apologies. We won in the NIT today so i'm pleased with that consolation prize. Looking forward to 2007. What else would you like me to say? Yes..you get to play one more week....then we can both be twiddling our thumbs next Sun when both are teams are done for the year.

I'm not going to harp on the win, it speaks for itself.

Once again...Tags speaking in circles. Like listening to him say 10 times he's punching out for the night on every board then staying on for another 3 hours

hold on RT... I think that this next SJFC-SC game is a lot closer than it was last time...remember fisher put up 38 against them...just hope the d plays better this time around

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Get off it dude. Ur such a weenie.

Well that was an adult thing to say.

Right. Just stop being so sensitive - I'm not going to "rub it in"...
I'm not being sensitive I could care less what happens to Union.  I jut don't like it when people come back in here and start beating their chests that the other posters were wrong all along, that's all.

Hmmm,

Fisher or Springfield!  Which one to root for?  Coin toss goes for the NY team.

Just in case, any chance Ithaca's Def Coord can make a quick trip to Pittsford? :)

port your right....  But boy was this game fun....  Robbie was at full form...and they played him most of the game....  The thing with Suchyna playing is they have a couple of plays that they run for him per game....  the 99 yard drive was a huge moment...the Union big wigs had no game today  It was good to see Reile and Robinson in the game at the same time... I guarntee that fisher has tape from the Ithaca-Springfield gaurnteee... and the Defense has been watching that game tape for a long time

Final from Merrill Field:
Alfred 40, Rochester 34 (OT)

AU rallies from 16 point deficit. Down 34-26 with less than 2 minutes remaining, AU puts together a long drive, scoring TD with 8 seconds remaining in the game, then Keeley goes around right end for 2-pt conversion to make it 34-34.

In OT, UR goes nowhere in three plays and field goal attempt is wide right.

In OT, Keeley hands off to frosh tailback Vinson Hendrix who goes 25 yards for the TD and gives AU the ECAC Northwest Championship!

PepBand,

Great news!  On to next year! Still working on those guys down south.  Advanced to District champs this weekend.

Saxon 73:  If you've got some names, please e-mail me or send me a personal message. I'll be happy to send them along to the coaching staff. AU does get some good Pennsylvania boys including Andy Rantz (#49) of the defensive line.

Also, AUPepBand attended a "Hot Topics" session sponsored by the Admissions Office titled "Stories from the Road." Will be happy to also pass those names along to the admissions counselor responsible for recruiting in Pennsylvania. Perhaps they can make some connections.

Great game today, Saxons! Had some frustrating moments but kept fighting to the end and it paid off! A lethargic first half crowd came alive in the second half, with crowd leading cheers, making noise, following pep band's lead. Was a great finish to an outstanding season.

AU today won for the 25th time in three seasons as AU goes 25-8 from 2004-2006.

AU's band members threatened to go pull some "new music" for the annoying UR trumpeter who, regardless of what was happening on the field, randomly played a monotonous tune repeatedly. Even played, against NCAA regulations, while AU was up to the line calling signals....until notified that he could not do that.

Great comeback win for the Saxons....a good indicator that both teams wanted this ECAC championship game....a stepping stone for the Saxons to the 2007 season. Kudos to the Yellowjackets for a game well played. The rest of the Liberty League, no doubt, will see more of UR in the future.

So you are positive Fisher is going to lose next week? They have beaten Springfield two out of the three times they have played each other, and I am telling you guys the defense wasn't playing 100% that day and that tends to happen when your best defensive lineman your starting safety and your all conference corner back are out due to injuries.  They are all back now and they have seen what Springfield can do and I think if one of the two teams can adjust it will be Fisher, their defense has the capability to lockdown on Springfield, can Springfield's defense lock down Fishers? Not as likely but still possible yes....

Also about that thing Robinson said in the paper about defense shutting down everybody, ok fine Springfield beat us down but noooobooddy else has lit the defense up so they have been shutting teams down left right and center.  Union may have finished with 21 points today but it was 42-3 at the end of the 3rd quarter when they pulled most of the starters....Wasn't Union's offense supposed to be unstoppable? Weren't they supposed to hang at least 35 on Fisher?

Ha you guys are so serious on here. Lets just talk football.

You're right, this is my first year.

The only reason I ever said anything circle man is b/c you guys spoke in absolutes. Everything was "union will win" / "ur trash talking RB won't get the job done" yada yada.

That's all. Relax guys, it's just sport.
