Hey, the man loves to write poetry so I figured that I'd give it a try, too. Glad you enjoyed.

Smarten up and pay attention to this site and you would know exactly who Jonny Utah is.  I bet you more people have heard of the legend called Jonny Utah then have heard of the school St. Joan Fisher.  Go back to crapchester and respect your elders son........

JY- On the E8 board I don't know who you are, and could care less-and you sure are my junior

I was posting on the E8 board before St Joan Fisher even had a JV team.......

Gotta be the heat...no love and pre-season hasn't even hit.....???

I can't believe that we can't "...all just get along.."

Hey Tecmo......what do you hear locally about new blood?

Not much from Rochester......

Fisher grabbed a couple of guys from our part of town...Greece....haven't heard much else....

Plenty of chatter about the U of R and the acquistion of SJF's O-Coordinator.....expectations are running high for a quick turn around.....

I think they open the season again with a local charity game again, not sure where though....

I have to believe that running games with Defense get it done this year.....

Two backs at Fisher and Three at IC keeps them grinding...anybody hear about Chaz Bruce back at Alfred? Who gets the nod at Springfield? And what do we know about Utica Bud?

AUPB   You never cease to amaze me, I know you bleed purple, but how do you put AU into the E8 elite with a 1-5 record against IC and Fisher over the last 3 years, and the 1 was catching the Fisher boys flat after a bye week
Funny, I recall a little dance by the Bath boy when the E8 third place Cardinals found the end zone on that fateful Fisher day...as if the AU upset bid was over and Fisher would pour it on from there. But the Saxons answered it, I remember, with a nice TD march of their own with TE Chris Reger taking it in on a sweet pass from Keeley, who gets better with every game. AU followed that up with a four-minute march to a field goal. And, after a couple of edge-of-the-seat fourth down measurements that went the home team's way, Brenton Brady had the last of his bone-crunching hits. You could be right about the Fisher boys being flat, but seems to me the Saxons wanted it more. AU '05 was probably one of, if not THE hardest-hitting teams I've observed in my 40+ years of bleeding purple. Ask the Fisher trainers how many football players they had to mend during the week after that 13-7 game. I would never want to place AU in the "E8 Elite," whatever club that is, but AU is 1-1 against the Bombers (the Saxons led 14-13 in 4th quarter) and Cardinals in their past two outings. AU will continue to work hard, build its program and perhaps some year they'll go 2-0 against the E8 elite.

I guess a thanks is in order to the saxons for beating up Fisher, allowing RPI to get that comeback win in the ECAC game the following week.

All you need to know about Fisher is said right there. A team with their SEASON on the line comes out flat. At home, no less. As AUPB mentioned, you guys had the lead in the second half and still managed to lose the game.

Don't get me wrong, I respect Fisher a lot. They've built quite a program. But, ER, you have to give the Saxons their due. They won that game because they were the better team that day. Period. Fisher picked a bad time of the season to go into a slump and bottom out. I'm interested to see how good the Cards are this year with the departure of Fehrenbach.

I think thats the big question mark going into this season for Fisher.  They proved they could replace a QB/RB/OL, but while they were trying to replace them they always had Noah running past, over and through people in the secondary.  He was a great for Roland for two seasons and he helped ease the transition of new QB's for the last two seasons.  It will be alot harder to replace Noah than it was to replace any other of the offensive players the Cardinals have had over the years.

Thanks accepted. AUPepBand can't take any credit, although I guess you could say I had some big hits that day....striking the bass drum....Isn't it time RPI and AU got together for some football again, like the good ol' ICAC days?
