I always though theHartwick team was just Boltus and Phelan...they positioned 9 other jerseys on the field and the two of them used their Superpowers to teleport around as needed. Maybe I'm wrong though...

Easy Upstate...it is all in good fun.  I know full well that the 2009 season could be a rebuilding year...but you never know.  No chance of replacing some of the guys we had this year, but hopefully some will step up.  You should come down to the cage for the SJF-Wick game this year.

What are you most excited about with regards to your teams' season this upcomin year? What has you nervous?

For Ithaca:

Excited:

1) Brian Grastorf with a year under his belt
2) Thomas Bergerstock back healthy
3) Cortaca, SJF and Alfred coming to town
4) Each new season brings hope that Ithaca may actually have someone who can rush the passer (Where have you gone Jeff Kasargian and Alex Shafiro?)

Nervous:

1) Are they losing too much on the offensive line?
2) Who's Grastorf going to throw to? No more Crandall or Weverburgh
3) Who's replacing Jason Chier at CB and Matt Scalice at LB?
4) They're going to miss Cheir and Crandall in the return game

1) Super sophomore season for Secky
2) Vinson Hendrix hopefully at 100% in 2009
3) A healthy Chad Pieri joining Nick Clark on defense

5) A pep band loaded with veterans

Nervous:
1) Replacing Ron Smith, Brian Nitsche and Rob Ritter on D
2) When Manzer tries to make something out of nothing
3) Kicking game....can AU get some kickoff touchbacks?
4) Will the bandwagon make it thru another season?
5) Can E8 replace Norwich?

One thing that will help out with you being nervous bombers798891 is that there is a pretty good chance  that Scalice will be back at IC next year playing LB and getting his M.B.A using his redshirt year from his freshman year, along wih the Bombers always being able to reload.
