Does anyone know when Fisher is going to release it's football schedule for next year? I am seeing a lot of teams with their full schedules out, but not Fisher. Are they still trying to fill some spots? Or are they just finalizing times and such?

Tell them to just stay focused on 9/5/09.  No need to look ahead.  LOL  ;)

Partial schedule here:  http://www.d3football.com/school/SJF/2009
National Champions - 13: 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017

I don't know Kirasdad the following week of the 12th appears to be our true first test of the season.  But on the off chance Mount Union proves to be a tougher opponent than Buffalo State, I'll humor you and ask the following.....How do you see the year shaping up for Mount Union after losing a double threat all American QB and possibly the greatest running back in D3 history?  I know they are returning a bunch of starters otherwise but do you predict another deep run into the playoffs and possible championship?  Also can't wait to finally see Mount Union come to Rochester, I like Alliance and all but after 3 straight trips it's just nice to see the teams play minus the lengthy drive.

Rochester to Mt Union 4 1/2 hours, Rochester to Bangor, Maine 10+ hours. Mt Union will travel Friday. The only thing Ralph Wilson did for Fisher is let them use his name for a building. Robert Wegman gave Fisher the money to upgrade so they could lure the Bills to the Rochester market.

It will be interesting to see who the leaders are early on in the season.  I haven't heard anything about performances during spring FB.  I would assume that Rocco will be the QB early on and there should be another RB to step up to the table (Moore-Pugh-Robinson-Kmic-Next Guy in Line).  OL is solid and Shorts and Petruziello are back at WR.  Defense should be solid as usual also.  Early on will prove whether or not the Raiders can make another run at the Title.  I actually think UWW has more coming back and probably should be ranked as the preseason #1, based on returning starters and potential.  The incoming recruiting class appears to be VERY GOOD.  Hearing more this year than in years past, but that may be due to the new SID releasing more information than in the past.  The guy that replaced Tyrell Pryor (after Pryor graduated from HS) is coming to Mount as well as a local very good QB.  But, I think Kehres will probably give Rocco a chance from the start.

Nice, I think Fisher is getting a Freshman QB who replaced a QB at his high school that once saw Dan Marino in person.  That's about all you can hope for when it comes to New York High School football.

Didn't you get the memo?

JP Losman is playing for SJF next year!  He can't find a job in the NFL so he decided to go back to school and try again!  (Yes I know it's not possible)...

Stop busting my balls.  You asked my opinion and I gave it to you.  Maybe you can get one of your drummers from the marching band to play WR for you this year.  That way if you score, at least he can play a tune on the drums in the end zone when you are getting spanked on the scoreboard.

That would require Fisher to have a marching band. We prefer our music pumped through the speakers.
GO FISHER!!!

My old, fat butt could play RB this season and Mount would still win the OAC and make a run to at least the Semi-Finals.  They return 9 of 11 starters and all of their main playmakers on defense and will be absolutely nasty to score on.

The O-line will be much better than last season as 3 starters and all 5 back-ups return.  The 3 receivers returning creates a WR core that is one of the best in a long time, probably since 1997.  The difference between a Stagg run or not will be QB.  If Kurt Rocco, an untested senior, can be smart with the ball and put it in the hands of a very deep and talented WR core, Mount will be a legit threat to win #11.  If he turns out to be average, which he has looked backing up Micheli the last 2 years, Mount will struggle to make it to Virginia.

And I agree with Kirasdad on Whitewater being the favorite for '09.  They're absolutely loaded.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Who's busting your balls?

The last two posts just slammed NY High School Football and the Buffalo Bills, no one mentioned anything about you or MUC...

A bit touchy?

No kidding... I thought MUC folks were all so humble & level headed.

Kirasdad's arrogance is no different from that goofball who banged on the drums.

I am a bit touchy this week sorry.  Tired of dealing with Middle Schoolers.  Only 23 days left of school.  I interpreted the comments about the Bills and NY HS FB as slams against my post about the kid who replaced Pryor coming to MUC.  Kind of hard not to see it that way when the posters quoted my post and highlighted that sentence.

I need summer vacation like never before!

I agree, PG.  You never want to be "touchy" around Middle Schoolers, even if she looks like she's 18...
