I am a bit touchy this week sorry.  Tired of dealing with Middle Schoolers.  Only 23 days left of school.  I interpreted the comments about the Bills and NY HS FB as slams against my post about the kid who replaced Pryor coming to MUC.  Kind of hard not to see it that way when the posters quoted my post and highlighted that sentence.

I need summer vacation like never before!

Yikes!  :o

I agree, PG.  You never want to be "touchy" around Middle Schoolers, even if she looks like she's 18...

Nah I definitely wasn't attacking your comment, I highlighted it so people would know what part I was referring to as I set up my joke.

Also +k AUKaz00, those are words to live by lol.

Well take a deep breath and smile. You have a few months off coming right up. My teaches and it is pretty tough on me when she is sound asleep in the summer mornings, and I am on my way to my office to sift through spreadsheets.
GO FISHER!!!

try having WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many college students come into your office crying the blues and having every excuse under the sun because i am going to academically dismiss them.......i had one tell me that he had to commit his mother to an mental institution----------the only trick was that i talked to her that afternoon-------from her home---imagine her suprise when she found out that she was "insane"........

I see that their lying skills don't improve much from MS to College.

So here's a question.........why would anyone other than the SJF faithful think that even with Mount's inexperience at QB & RB, that Fisher can beat Mount this year vs. any other?  I have read about the questions regarding SJF's chances this year (this coming from amongst their faithful), so convince me why the upcoming game will be competitive?

By the way....that is not arrogance or cockiness.....I am really wondering why/how this game will be different than any others....

Just saying......

fisheralum91

tags-----i have slimmed down----uc light for me!!

skunks-----i think that every fan has unconditional love at the beginning of the season and everyone is undefeated.  can fisher be competitive--who knows---as an alum i would hope so.  bringing the best d3 program to growney is a big deal and i would assume that fisher will be pumped up for this game. will it be enough ---nobody knows- but as we sit here talking about it in may, i will wait to hear reports from camp........
hope you make the trip---i sure am!

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to expect this game to be competitive.  Even in the past 6 seasons in which SJF has won a large majority of their regular season games (none of which were against MUC of course), they have played their 'worst' (relatively speaking) during the first few games and have progressed as the season has.  The only time SJF did compete with MUC, 'we' had an all-american, power running game, an all american corner and a healthy, experienced and make-no-mistakes QB.  Does SJF portray anything close on paper at this point?

Nonetheless, I certainly dont mind going in with no expectations and coming out with a W...sure would be nice :o

fisheralum91

good to see you on 82---i agree- it has seemed that the "work in progress" theory is correct.
no all americans to hang our hats on---question marks all over the place, and an offensive system that is ....well.....offensive.
still...
will hope for the best...however unrealistic....

I think there's a certain subset among fans of any team that "If you don't believe the team can win every game, you're not a real fan." When I worked radio for IC, people would give us flak if we predicted a loss on air...you know, because IC's had all those undefeated teams and stuff.

I see no reason to believe SJF will be competitive. But that's not really a rip on Fisher. Outside of UWW, who has been against MUC? I'm planning on going to the game, mostly because I think it will be fun to see MUC in person, but I'm expecting a blowout.

theoriginalupstate

I hope it will be competitive, but I don't think it will be. Not with out a running game at least...

When is Ithaca going to post the schedule for next year?  May seems kind of late to not post it I think.
