Just curious, did he call you a loser to your face?  That sounds like a great story and Id love to hear it.

What he meant was that you were the loser and he was the losee since you chose to attend Fisher instead of Wick and were thus "lost" from his team.  You can't take these things out of context, 91.
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

This story has 'Lifetime Movie' written all over it.  I can see it now:

One last comment on the rumors that Wesley is not up to the academic standards of certain comferences. I have been attending events at Wesley for 15 years and I have had the good fortune of meeting hundreds of kids.. Do they all stay in school? No! Are they all straight A students? No! But I can tell you that I can name many who have gone on to high places in the business world, nursing profession and teaching. Many of those teachers have become coaches. It's unfortunate that too often this subject
rears it's ugly head when schools start moving around.. And it's not just about Wesley.
Football !!! The ultimate team sport. Anyone who plays DIII football is a winner...

I missed the rest of the academics discussion re. Wesley but I wouldn't worry about it PA.  That is the same tired argument every poor team runs out when it loses.

Ironically, IC has had oppossing fans use it against us and, unfortunately, had some of our knuckleheaded fans use it against other schools (good natured ribbing of that state school up the road notwithstanding).

In the end, it doesn't matter.  Just look at this year's D1 Football and Basketball champs.

you guys are great--

He said it under his breath as i was leaving his office---he also muttered that i wouldnt have seen any pt anyway.
real class guy.
the poor admissions rep that brought me over to see him was at a total loss for words.
i will give the admissions kid credit tho- he wished me luck at fisher and was very professional.

now instead of having sour grapes because of that- i have had many many professional interactions with wick students staff and administration that have confirmed my dislike of the college

fisheralum91

ok who is the smite monster---really 5 smites that quickly--damn

sorry boys--didnt mean to unload like that

wickfan- do believe me when i say that i respect anybodies fans--EVEN wicks fans

91,  no problem....I just try to give information that I hear....I was told that the Salisbury and Frostburg news was not going to happen and it did just like I said.  Then I give the reason why Wesley was not. There must be a reason why Wesley was not allowed to come in, because they did want to join. If somebody can tell me why Wesley was not allowed, please come forth.

It was wrong the treatment you received from Hartwick in the past.

fisheralum91

wick fan-
now that your qb is in canada- what do the prospects look like.
you still have a nice wr corps and a decent line

any idea what is going to happen on the west side of otown?

My understanding it was the E8 presidents that had the issue with academics....I don't believe it was one school saying don't let them in. I guess the question is, are Wesley's standards similar to the E8 schools?  Again, this is what I heard, not what I believe.
