OK,

If no one else wants to think about it yet, how far might Alfred go if Secky and Hendrix return?

265 Miles...

Is that the distance to Alliance?

Yeah and no one can disagree.  I was talking with my brother who moved to Durham this summer while driving down to the Yanks game on Sunday and he started saying, "If Alfred makes it to Salem, I'll have to make the trip up."  And I just replied, "Alfred's not going any farther than Alliance, Ohio so don't put that leave slip in quite yet."

unfortunately, the E8 champion has not made it past Curry the past 2 years...

At least Ithaca didn't have to travel for that indignity!

i would say it makes it worse to lose at home

maxpower

I think it's about the same.

Is Ithaca even going to be in the E8 for much longer?

I missed most of the summer conversation, as Tecmo Jr. found his way into the world, but I thought the word on the street was that we were LL bound.... has anything changed?
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

Ithaca was NOT accepted into the LL. RIT was picked....along with the Bard Raptors.

Plus....Salisbury State and Frostburg State are entering the E8 for 2011 as football affiliates.

You dont think its more painful to lose at home than on the road?  Or if rephrased ... you dont think a loss at home is more damaging than a loss on the road?

Of course not...if it makes Ithaca look good and Hartwick look bad...then throw out all conventional wisdom and say whatever feels right.

Like you, I have been saying it for over a year now.  Wick losses to Curry on the road, it's the worse loss ever...Ithaca losses to Curry at home, and all of a sudden Curry has "arrived".  No big deal...just the way things are.

You going to the Wick-UC game this weekend?

Yeah dlip does not think the Bombers are going anywhere, especially with the addition of FS and Salisbury. Honestly dlip was very pissed at the ****in LL for not taking Ithaca? dlip feels that was a stupid move and sometimes these conferences should get off their soap boxes.
