It was 70 to Utica in four overtimes and 68 to Brockport in regulation. Neither one is so great, though.

Actually, we gave up 70 to both.  49 to Utica in regulation...then 70 straight up to Brockport.  Obviously, we weren't that deep last year, and not having Tomaino and our starting ILB and FS out of the game killed us.

Looks like IC running back Clay Ardoin makes his debut today after his early season injury.

In the new E8 tradition of premature nicknames for freshman running backs, I nominate to dub him Clay "The Rock" Ardoin.

And, it's looking like Timothy "TJ" Kilcarr gets his first start at QB for Alfred today, following a solid effort last week at Fisher in relief of Tom Secky.

Pep is looking for the AU defense to rise to the task...it should be a great game at Merrill Field today. Exterminate those Yellowjackets!!

On Saxon Warriors!! and......Hey Pride!

On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

At least Max isn't acting like a 7 year old, calling people, 'Wittle Pumpkin', then giggling out loud.

Tough news for Scalice who sculpted himself into a machine of a man in college... unfortunately he just couldn't avoid injury late in his career....

bombers looking sluggish in the second half and any ncaa aspirations are long gone....

key moments:

third quarter - fourth and goal for ithaca @ the 1 with ithaca up 3 and they kick a field goal to go up 6

fourth quarter fourth and goal for springfield @ the 1 with springfield up 7 and they punch it in to go up 14

ithaca could have made it a two score game and sent a statement but the conservative play call really cost them.  i know the line has struggled at times this year but i would have liked to see them go for it.
