Final Regional Rankings that we'll get to see publicly are now available:

Springfield does not fall far and remains above Union and Maine Maritime, which both stay at #10 and #9 respectively.  Interesting set of rankings.

ha...interesting....how bout suspect.  What is worth talking about is that every region, but the East, has at least 3 teams undefeated overall, and the other 3 have at least 4 teams undefeated in region.   The West has 5 times undefeated overall....wow.

The NCAA should not be calling the "East Region" the "East Region" though....they should be calling it the "East plus one North team named Mount Union Region"

It would help if the East could get more than five or six teams into the playoffs.

Need the ECFC to get their AQ, NESCAC to get off their high horse and come play, and NEFC splits into 2 individual conferences with an AQ each.

And that will improve the quality of teams making the playoffs in the East?  Maine Maritime, Curry & Husson even in playoff discussions is redickulous.....

Oh it would definitely weaken the bracket but all of those AQ's would probably keep the brackets more regional for the East's likening...

Yeah, no kidding! Curry has no business in the playoffs! They could never hang with a team from the Empire...you know what...I'll just stop here...

In all fairness, it would be great to have a league champion from every league make the playoffs.  But that clearly eliminates all pool C teams from contention in the east.  Thats just not good for anyone in my opinion.

Well not according to the ****in **** ass regional rankings that have not one but two NEFC teams ranked ahead of Union. Year after year this baffles dlip. Honestly dlip has given the NEFC some due credit in the past few years but again, we have an example of the regional rankings being ****in ridiculous. We will also see the LL winner most likely get the #8 seed in the East Bracket as a result of a stupid ****in mileage rule and the NCAA's and others lack of intelligence.

Does the Purple Drank warrant some respect? **** yes, they have earned it in dlipp's mind two years in a row. Yet this is a weaker Curry team than in the past two years and Maine Maritime has done nothing to deserve a ranking ahead of an LL undefeated (in LL play) team in Union.

Maine Maritime will blow out Curry this weekend.

Perhaps, but considering Union gave Muhlenberg one of their two wins on the season, their marquee win over Ithaca is turning out to look not so grand, and they have yet to play the only other team in the LL that could make the playoffs, Union doesn't strike me as having the greatest resume either. It's quite possible only 3 of the 8 LL teams finish with a winning record, so how impressive is a 6-0 LL record when you haven't played the #2 school yet?

I know the NEFC is a cruddy conference, but if the best win you can claim this season is an un-ranked Ithaca, it's not like you've proven a lot either.
