Agree to disagree...maybe somewhere between extremely unlikely and miracle???

It would be unlikely, but not a miracle if they beat Alfred.

Well...UC is 0-8 against AU all-time...average margin of victory is 19 points...closest game was 10 points in '02...average margin of victory the past 4 years is over 3 TD's...and facing arguably the best team AU has ever had...

Maybe not a miracle of epic proportions (say 1980 U.S. Hockey Team over the Russians), but to me it is a bit more then unlikely...just my $.02.

I don't think a UC win  would be a miracle, but it'll be tough for the Pioneers.

You know what, you're right...

I just checked the box score of the Saxons 27-10 win over Utica last year and was quite surprised to see that UC was pretty competitive with the Saxons.  UC went 2-5 on 4th downs and 0-3 in the redzone last year.

Utica has improved since last year (Utica has doubled their offensive PPG average from 2008) so hopefully it's going to be a better offensive effort by the Pioneers.

I'd place Fisher's odds at making the tourney at 12%.  It's science!

Watch out for the RPI guys, they might come after you for infringing on their trademark...

I am guessing it is a speech like this:

"Great moments are born from great opportunities.  And that is what he have here today boys.  That is what we have earned here today.  One game.  If we played them eight times…they might win eight.  But not this game.  Not today.  Today…we stay them.  Today…we play with them…and we shut them down, because we can.  Today…we are the best team in the Empire 8.  You were meant to be football players…well, most of you anyways…and you were meant to be here today.  This is your time…Alfred’s time is over, it’s done.  Screw em…this is your time.  Now go out there and get us to .500…"

OK, all kiddin aside, I reread your replies Frank...so you think it looks like SC still has a shot at Pool C....that is crazy (not you, the ranking).  SC should have as much a chance at that as SJF.... .000000000000009

Same conference, SJF has better conference record today (and will remain if they beak Wick)

AU smacked SC, AU snuck by SJF

...and, uhm, SJF whooped the Pride on the road.  The stats were even more lopsided than the score.

Do you agree with the SC ranking?

Also, if Fisher wins tihs weekend, regardless of what AU does, they can at least claim a share of the E8 title. Just saying, in an argument about who should and who should not, Head to head, conference record, and hardware are pretty convincing arguments.

Are you saying you think SJF has a shot at the NCAAs?

SJF has no shot at a Pool C, not with three losses and a lot of Pool C contenders out there this year...they can still get the E8 AQ if Alfred loses to Utica and SJF beats Wick this weekend.

No one in the SJF fan base thinks that SJF has any claim to a Pool C.

They know that the only way they get in is by a miracle Utica win (no offense Dew).

I don't think anyone is rubbing it in...I know I wasn't...just stating an opinion that I don't think that there is anyway they can get a Pool C this year.  I think maybe they could have if they beat Salisbury, unfortuntately...

Yeah it was directed at BoSox, should have just quoted him...

I was just asking ...I thought someone was going down that road with a comment made about Fisher.  And i screwed up... i meant a shot at pool C.  Not just NCAAs

No...nobody is saying, typing, implying, thinking, texting, emailing, writing, dreaming, wondering, pondering, sign-languaging (signing), lip-syncing, morse-coding or smoke-signaling....THAT.

But, since you asked, yes they do...They win and AU loses...TASTE IT!!!

+k for recognizing one of the great scenes in movie history.

Good luck to the Cardinals tomorrow. Hopefully the Hawks can play up to their potential.

Looks like it may be a decent day for November football watching.

Same to the Hawks, based on the past couple of years it should be a fun and exciting game!

We can't turn the ball over and our bend but sometimes breaks too much defense has to get turnovers like they did the second half against of the Utica game. Radley has to play within himself and not try to be Boltus. But, for the first year AB (after Boltus) we have beaten the teams we should have and lost to the more talented teams. The ones that hurt were the Ithaca and Springfield games. The first half against Springfield was the best our D has played all year. But the second half was a different story.

Saxon73

Saxon73 couldn't make it to the game last week so, obviously that is why IC won.  A true congratulations as they did outplay the Saxons.

Utica is wasting gas money this week.
