wow- that moville qb just lit up the wick secondary again....
wont mean anything but wow..thats not a good sign

Wick looked pretty poor today and Morrisville even worse. Although Wick did have some flashes on the offensive side of the ball it may be another tough year for the Hawks. dlip was glad they got the W though.

Fisher looked strong tonight in a 55-12 win against bfockport. I am inlove with this Borum guy.
GO FISHER!!!

Anyone see the Bomber game that knows where Ruggerio and Ardoin ran on their big TD runs.  The official play by play said there were huge holes for each, and Ardoin went in untouched.  Curious which of our lineman pulled that off...

Not a bad result today, especially from the defensive side.  I can't remember the last time the Bombers had five sacks in a game.

Will be good to have Hendel running the show next week.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

I saw a little of the Hartwick game on TV.  If their secondary is getting lit up by Morrisville, they could be in for a long season.  The commentator said that the Morrisville QB is a converted WR from last year.  Morrisville couldn't recruit a QB  anywhere??!!

i would llike to know more about the UC game....Is UC good or Becker that bad?

only good teams beat other teams 78-19

I watched the the Mo'ville/Fisher scrimmage and was schocked that Hartwick did not beat them by 40.

How about every E8 team being 1-0. Congrats.
GO FISHER!!!

The Alfred and SJF scores were a lot more impressive IMHO, and they didn't win by 59 in either case.  Becker is not that good.  Good win for UC, but you can't carry points over -- so that score could give them a false sense of security as much as anything.  I hate seeing scores >60 this time of year because it probably means a team played another team so far under its own status and the winning team probably learned little in the game itself.  We'll see how that translates over the next few weeks, though.

I seen the Ruggerio TD, it was a counter to the left side with a guard and FB/TE leading.  It was a real nice hole.  He made a backside LBer miss and cut it back.  I stopped watching after that.

The D looked solid, the LBers got beat a couple times by the Larries TE though.

"I seen"............?

Final thoughts about the Fisher game....It is nice to have special teams back....Like I called it a few weeks ago- Fisher needed a returner ala Steve Stepnick.....Kramer is that guy...Produced instantly...He will learn and grow with this team.. Bailey looked very impressive...5 tds ties a school record.  The WR crew is outstanding.. Bailey has a LOT of options..Borum is a load to tackle, very nice back...D looked good...All around- a little spit and polish and this team is in mid season form!
I am really looking forward to this year!

Bailey did look good, a little off on his deep passes but other than he looked really good.  He was very sharp over the middle which is nice to see...

Borum is a classic inside runner, not going to bust one long that often but he runs over tacklers and has deceptive feet to sidestep defenders...

It was awesome to see two Defensive tackles, including a 6'6" 310 lb behemoth that went 57 yards!

Brockport did have a nice back up QB that has a huge arm...he's also 6'4" 280lbs!

The punting leaves a lot to be desired but it was a great first effort by the Cardinals!

It's early and I've got 4 kids running around...

Lay off  :P

oh please upstate!
the door was left wide open!! ;D

Like i said... a little spit and polish--this team can go 10-0...as long as they avoid the usual trip game...and that has Utica writen all over it.....lets hope not!

I was surprised that Fisher did not utilize Ryan Kramer more in the passing or running game. With a talent like that I expected to see him much more involved. He was effective last night as returning kick offs and punts, but I would like to see Fisher try to get him the ball on offense.

As stated earlier, I am very excited about FuQuan Borum. I think he is going to make a huge contribution to Fisher this year.

All in all a good opening game for Fisher. A little polish as someone said earlier, and I think we are all in for a great year.
GO FISHER!!!

fisheralum91

cards- he seemed to be in on many plays....caught some nice passes.
The only difference was using him behind bailey.
Miller spelled borum.
hopefully in the coming weekd Ryan gets more looks, but it didnt seem like he was being ignored
