According to the Ithaca paper Zappia and Hendel were neck and neck for the start this week, but the second half last week got Zappia the nod. I would guess he is on a short leash.

Will Ithaca be providing any live feeds of the game?

Unionathletics.com has a video link, but it looks pretty dated and possibly inactive.

As a tribute to the ninth anniversary of the events of 9/11/01 tomorrow, we will be playing this clip during halftime of our college football broadcast of Union at Ithaca on 1160AM WABY-Mechanicville, NY. In case you can't join us, I wanted to post this clip since it is very much worth the listen -- WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

My father and grandfather were both career firefighters, and I remember that day having a deep impact on all of my family. It is nice to be reminded what is important some times. Thanks for the post.

I remember when they built that place..it was pizza from there or Domino's.  I don't think any of the places we used to frequent are even there anymore...except Micawbers.

The Dugout  (Thursday nights  - "Dimies"),
The Pines,
Kellys,
Simmeons(sp?),
Ground Round

Jonny, Rogan's is still around, but it has new owners and the pizza isn't great. Joe's and Benchwarmers are both still around, and each has a solid presence in the community.

There've been a few closures in the area. For example, Gino's Pizzeria, one of the best in town, closed for good in the middle of the night my sophomore year. The bosses took the ovens out, the tables out, everything, and nobody knew until two days later. There have also been a few bars that have had tax troubles and closed for months at a time.

The Pines on 89, Kellys Dockside and Simeons are all still there.  However, the dugout and ground round are gone.  Micawbers is also gone.  They initially closed due to not paying there taxes I think.  Then, they re-opened and the owner passed away and it closed again.  However, this past summer I saw people in there cleaning it out and it looked like they were re-doing it.
