Ha...I can agree for now...but I will hold off on that thought until the end of the season.

I think they go 6-4 this year...

That's just me...

That feels about right...probably heavily favored against Wick and St. Lawrence to get them to 6 wins...against IC, SJF, Springfield, and Alfred...not so much.

Yeah, even though I chimed in, I'm starting to feel like it's a gang up.  

Dew's a good dude and he didn't hype Utica prior to the season to his credit, but this scenario of big talk on ATE was inevitable with a fast start considering the way he highlighted completely unimportant Utica games in prior years.  And it's only natural that he wants to hype up his team first, conference second (which deserves it this year), so I always take what he writes with a grain of salt.  It's a little different situation than, say Gordon Mann or Pat and so probably didn't merit the couple of pages of "Utica, Utica?!?! What the hell are you talking about?"  It's a nice start with a lot of season and the toughest 3-4 left on the schedule.

Well, I never said team to beat, but from what I have seen I think we are better then IC and we beat SC, so IMO its us and Fisher.

And Pep, I have "complete lack of rhythm syndrome", so no band for me, but I heard you guys at the Widener game and you did a FABULOUS job! 

you did say team to beat... and you just said it again.  Alfred just needs to win the games they're supposed to... I think Frostburg and Wick coming up... until they get into a big game in a few weeks...

Yeah, and just like in 2004, if utica beats SJF on a BS call in the endzone, we're going to have to hear about how they've "arrived for real" when it will still be BS. IMHO, you've arrived when you do something consistently, not when you are Hartwick in the playoffs and then drop right off.

Nope...still a Wick fan...you threw a barb, I threw one back.  Either way, we still have more wins over SJF over the past 6 years then IC does.
