Come on guys; let's discuss Pat in a positive way, sometimes kidding each other, with no disrespect.

Well played...

I like Ithaca at Merrill (is it still Merrill?) this year.... 31-10 last year and this is a slightly better team... it will all depend on the volume of the band though...

saxontad

Actually, I'll take a "nip" every week as long as we keep winning!

On Saxon Warriors

saxontad

Yes, we always have trouble with the Bombers.

Everyone should agree with that...

How big is the Saxon band? I always picture this massively impressive one when Pep mentions it.

Is the team better than last season? If Vossler, Higgins, Ruffrage and the rest get healthy, I think the Bombers could go pass-heavy and create match-up problems. But even in the Felliceti, Welch, Esposito, Dargush and O'Hara, heyday the Bombers always tilted a bit to the run. Can Welch change it up like that? Can he abandon the run like that? Is Zappia good enough to do it?

Remember, the Saxons clearly have issues at Butterfield, so it may be dangerous to use last season as a comparison

The way I see it is, passing is slightly better than last season, defense much better, run worse. thought that balanced out to slightly better, but you might be right...

The band is anywhere from Pep and I on kazoos (during mid-semester break) to 18 or 20 students on an array of musical instruments.  What the band lacks in size and technical ability is more than made up for with passion and atmosphere.  We're less about playing songs well and more about emphasizing the Saxons' play on the field.

And it's about time Tad joined the band and became saxontadonsax!

Bombers....we'll just talk about when we used to beat Catholic and Galludet instead.

Not including the one you forfeited back to Catholic, I assume.

mee....how many times we gotta hear this....it comes up every year ;)

And as I understand the way forfeits work, SJF takes an "L" , but the opponent does not get a "W" in kind....right?  I mean, I was there, and played, and you didnt beat us.

Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit.
