This weekend on ITH (this Sunday @ 7:30 PM ET) we will interview a key player in the weekend's slate of games, as well as welcome Springfield College Head Coach Mike DeLong live at 8:10 PM ET.  We'll be discussing SC's reasoning behind leaving the E8, his views on the "weakness" of the East and the possibility of another year with MUC in the "eastern playoff bracket" (Coach DeLong is on the championship selection committee), among other topics.

Dammit!  A guy can't catch a break.  I was flying and spending all day in various airports.

To answer a question posed much earlier in reference to how I think Fisher may end up as low as 8-2.  I can just envision a scenario in which the offense just isn't clicking (case of the dropsies, Bailey dealing with a rough breakup the night before, etc.) and losing to 1 or maybe even 2 of the other top teams in the E8.  Realistically I think they will end up 9-1, I am just saying I wouldn't be completely shocked if they went 8-2.  Though I am hoping Upstate is right when he says the defense is nothing to worry about.

Yeah. It's weird, because Fisher's never gone undefeated, despite some really good teams, so it's hard to picture this one doing it because, in my mind, I keep thinking that means they're better than those teams, which seems odd. I do it with IC all the time. I just figure, there's a game somewhere where it'll happen.

As for your defense, I was astounded to see you guys were last in the conference in total yards allowed per game. Probably an early season thing, but gives me hope that maybe we can keep it within 20.

Regardless of who wins, it'd be nice if we just got some competitive games out of the IC/Fisher series. I mean, Buff State used to beat us a lot, but those games were at least compelling. I'm sure you guys don't mind the 30-point wins, but those 2004-2005 games were classics. Everything else has been blowouts

something occurred to me....if we are really wondering what the difference between 'East' football v. the rest is....dont need to look any further than the last 50 pages of combined posts on the LLPP and E8PP.....You see here in the East we talk about football and treat it as an intellectual exercise; the LLPP talks about Barney Miller, photosynthesis, and the effects of electromagnetic interference on the reproduction of molecular atoms....on the E8PP we argue about why our teams will LOSE games this year.

In the OAC....the dads spent 20 hours last week running their kids through tires and form tackling, with the occassional break to ponder whether they would beat their opponent by 55 or 75 pts this week.

So the answer is....stop posting and lets start tossing the 'ol ball around.....Its Science

Very worried about the Fisher game today. This is a program making game for UC, and I am sure Faggiano has told them to Utica. I don't think Fisher will be intimated though. I will take Fisher to pull away late and win 43-24.

I've got the AU game on the Empire 8 network, but there's no audio.  Is anyone getting the audio?  I haven't seen a scor yet.  AU just scored a TD but they didn't give the game score.
