If you take out the two incomplete passes by Bailey's back up, SJF is completing 56% of the 3rd and 8's or longer...

Three touchdowns is also interesting...i wonder if that's high too

They have got 5 TD's on 3rd and 8 or longer...

Borum's has a rushing TD, Biehl has a TD catch, Francis has a TD catch and Schmidt has 2 TD catches...

Upstate - Well played...
I am not a salt in the wound kind of guy- but

Screw Ithaca..............

enjoy at least a  3 loss season

Oh come on- that was only aimed at 2 of you ic faithful

82- great to see you and the fam!

I can take the knock and if I could go back this week I say the same thing.  Screw Fisher last week, this week, and next week!  A lot of people here want to see Fisher run the table and get the top seed but don't include me in that group.  I'll be rooting for Hartwick, Alfred, Frostburg, and Springfield the next month.  Its really not about being bitter either.  If we won by 50 yesterday I would say the same thing.  Oh well at least we have a 3 game winning streak against Cortland that we can look forward to extending...

Why the hatred for Fisher?  Did they reject your application for admission or something?
Doubtful:

Middle 50% of incoming freshman SAT scores:
Fisher 1450-1730
Ithaca College 1630-1920

I don't know bombers3 that is a pretty substantial range covered for it to be just the middle 50%.  Me thinks that covers the 25-75% range...You just hate to see people make stupid mistakes when boasting about intellectual superiority.  You'll get 'em next time though Tiger!

I despise it when people use the SAT to try to prove anything... But that's a topic for another site.   :P

Totally agree...

If you're good at sports SAT scores are irrelevant...

pg04

I would make the point that SAT scores should be irrelevant regardless, but this is more of a Thesis topic than a topic for D3boards haha

Eh, the Bombers have to have some kind of moral victory coming out of SatErday's game...

The long weekend has kept me away from the boards since saterday, so while I catch up here's the press release for the Legendary Alex Yunevich Sports Complex.

Here's a scenario for discussion:

Lets say...

-SJF, DVC, Cort, SUNY-Maritime win out
-AU, MSU finish with one loss
-LL Rep
-NEFC Rep

What happens?

Does the committee leave out one of the 1 loss E8, NJAC runner up?

Does SUNY Maritime get a pool B and go in the East?

Will they ship DVC to the "South"?

Finally caught up on all the posts from the past 3 days.  Dreaming about mid-November is fun even if it is meaningless.  To add another wrinkle into the above, we can't ignore that there may be a 10-0 SUNY-Maritime or 9-1 Norwich who would get a Pool B.  Or even both teams finishing at 9-1 and being eligible for Pool B or C consideration.

b3-
I understand the angst but wow.
you have a real hatred for Fisher.
Most of us get along and wish each other the best ooc and post season.
Is it only because Fisher has owned IC in the recent past or is it deeper?

Maybe it was a little bit bitter.   ;)  But really its nothing personal but I would just rather see someone else win.  Do Yankee fans want the Red Sox to win the division if they can't?  No, they prefer Tampa Bay (Alfred), Toronto (Springfield), or Baltimore (Utica).  Hartwick...we'll call them the Royals.  Like I said, its nothing personal, I just don't like Fisher and never have.  Stems from the basketball days probably; some teams/players just rub you the wrong way.  Nothing wrong with it just makes the game that much more interesting!  I don't wish ill will just hope the scoreboard reads more for Fisher's opponent...

...or Baltimore (Ithaca)...we'll have to wait and see what happens when Utica gets a crack at IC this year.

Are you implying that SJF is more difficult to get in than IC?  Thats funny

Bombers798891

There are really no winners when we start lobbing the academic grenades. Unless we're going completely over the top in satire (Like for Cortaca) they're just petty and spiteful. Who cares what the average SAT score is?

of course it is...at Fisher, they put you through a combine to test your football skills before they let you in....at Ithaca....well....SCOREBOARD;D

Touch The Rock

I've  been away from the computer for most of the weekend/beginning of this week.  Looks like you guys have been on a tear on here though.  I've skimmed through and it's pretty good stuff.

In terms of last SatErday, I didn't get to watch or follow the game so I just have stats and the boards to judge on but tip of the cap to Fisher.  It looks like IC was just plain outplayed.

Tough pill to swallow for a lot of reasons, but it looks like IC needs to work on their redzone offense.  You just can't walk away from being deep in your opponents territory empty handed.

Hopefully the boys up on South Hill get rested and fully healthy this week and start preparing for the Pride's rushing attack.
Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit.
