you are very right about more hype about this team.
i remember listening to a game very early this season---might have even been the bport game and i remember both Pete and Gene saying that (on paper) this was the most talented team in Fisher history and that 10- 0 is feasible.
Now that it is within grasp- this team is showing that it is living up to the hype.
I know Hartwick isnt great- but they gave IC fits and while the O seemed to "sputter" they still dropped 41 on em.

How many minutes is the game again? 43 or 60?

theres 60...you would think you would know that following football for this long. it was a question i wasnt there... but dropping 41 with 8 picks i dont think that says much about their offense in my opinion says more about their D

Well then why bring up the score at the latter portion of 3rd quarter in a regular season game?  By that logic DVC should be looked down for only leading 23-18 over a 3-2 Wilkes team at the end of the 3rd...

Dont get me wrong I think SJF is the top team in the E8

I am just looking over the posts from today for a second time, and this Fisher/AU game has a lot of people fired up already. This was the game that a lot of people pointed to early in the year as the key game in the conference, and it should be fun to see if the game can live up to the hype. I think Fisher is the better team, but I fully expect this game to be tight right down to the end. I am making my first trip to AU for a football game this weekend, so I can not wait.

As far as last year's game.  Does anybody recall that we lost bot Secky and Hendrix for the second half and still won?

Max- I think that IC is having an off year.
I will always use IC as a measuring stick until they end up and stay in the bottom ot the conference- and we all know that will not happen.

Anyways, for both sides, with or without Secky/Hendrix, I dont think either time was executing very well at all and it was relatively a stalemate throughout the third and fourth until the dropped punt. But I definitely see your point, had either of them been in, it might not have come down to a dropped punt that was returned for a TD...

The way each team was playing I don't think the outcome would have been that much different...

It still would have been a tight game coming down to the final minutes...
