Give credit where credit is due, props to the Bombers coaching staff for shutting down Springfield's offense.  The bye week definitely helped the Bombers but they shut down the triple option (only 230 yards rushing when they average 400+).  Great win even though it got a little close for comfort in the second half.  The 3rd and long pass interference was a huge call against Springfield when it was 16-14.  Unfortunately, even if IC beats Utica and Alfred they wouldn't win the tiebreaker for the league title because of overall losses but great win anyways today.  Go Bombers!

From what I was reading on the boards, doesn't sound like Bailey made all that great of decisions... How do the Fisher faithful feel about the performance?  Not rubbing it in, just trying to gauge what happened..

WeLl let's give credit where credit is due. AU beat fisher all over the field today. What can ya say about Fisher today? They laid an egg in the biggest Ga.e of the year. I blame the D coaching staff today, but it was all bad.

Not that it means anything to the E8, but SUNY-Maritime barely stays undefeated by beating Mount Ida.  It's interesting, they are beating these times by very little but remain undefeated...

From what I was reading on the boards, doesn't sound like Bailey made all that great of decisions... How do the Fisher faithful feel about the performance?  Not rubbing it in, just trying to gauge what happened..

The first throw was atrocious, totally unacceptable.  He stared him down and the DB made a play on it...

The rest of the game he was telegraphing a lot of his passes and staring down his WR's...

He was off, but I'm giving most of the credit to AU. They were two steps ahead of SJF's offense and defense all game...

All of the SJF bubble screens were snuffed out with ease...

AU converted some ridiculous percentage of 3rd downs (like 10 of 14 or something)...

I had the thought today that maybe the difference in the talent-level from top to bottom in the E8 isn't as great as we make it out to be.... or maybe in the East Region.

Ithaca smokes St. L
St. L beats RPI
RPI beats Alfred
Alfred beats Fisher
Fisher smokes IC

seems like there's more parity than we might like to admit. Bring over MUC...

I talked with a few AU parent about the quote from Bailey, and while I think the quote was blown way out p proportion, they were upset by it and I am sure that played a roll. here is my drunk 2 cents. Seckey is a great QB but his dad is a Dick. I know that will blast the karma, but I talked with him most of the 2nd half, and he is a jerk.

As I said before, Montclair is still undefeated and there will be no need for MTU if MSU beats everyone remaining, including Cortland.  Also, Lycoming got crushed by DVC 36-0 today and it looks more like DVC is actually the best team in the region.
