haha got ya, he was definitely fast...no question there.
Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit.

My revised East Region bracket is below. Translation: Let's go, Montclair.

1) Montclair State
2) Delaware Valley
3) Alfred
4) Rowan
5) St. John Fisher
6) NEFC champ
7) SUNY-Maritime (Pool B...and considering that team could barely beat Mount Freaking Ida, including them SICKENS me, 10-0 or not)
8) St. Lawrence (who essentially clinched the LL with their win over RPI. Joke as I might about them potentially going 4-6, the Larries being in the postseason one year after losing Gerard "The Freak" Bryant is a phenomenal accomplishment.)

Last few teams out: Cortland, Lycoming/Ithaca (tie)

I know Lycoming beat Ithaca, but IC now has a win over a pretty solid Springfield team. If they win out, beating Utica, Alfred, and Cortland, it'll be tough to keep them out of the postseason...unless Montclair loses and we have to bring the purple people-eaters east again.

I would personally rather include Norwich than Maritime. They at least have a win over a team from a competitive conference (even if it was the worst team in the E8). Whatever 1-3 seed gets them is going to be licking their chops. I respect 10-0. I don't respect NONE of those wins being CLOSE to quality wins.

SUNY-Maritime plays Norwich next week, so we'll see which team is better (well, maybe).  if Maritime loses though then neither of them will probably make it.

Should also mention that Norwich's one loss actually came to that Mount Ida team that SUNY-Maritime Struggled with today.

Here's my quick guess at a bracket without looking at the criteria the Committee actually uses.  So it's off the top of my head, out of my butt or whatever other anatomical cliche you prefer...

1) Mount Union
2) Montclair State
3) Delaware Valley
4) Empire 8 champ
5) St. Lawrence
6) Rowan
7) NEFC champ
8) SUNY-Maritime

If the NEFC champ is Maine Maritime, they have limited places to which they can drive.  I don't see St. Lawrence getting a home game so Montclair it is.

Del Val-Rowan are close to each other and haven't played this year.  Tailor made first round match up.  The Empire 8 champ hosts the Larries and Mount Union moves into the bracket to provide some balance.  There could be a lot of undefeated teams so I don't see the East getting away with just having two (Montclair and Maritime).  Moving Wesley north has always made more sense to me but the Committee likes to Mount-ains instead.

Where's the second Empire 8 team?  In Ada, Ohio playing Ohio Northern. :)

St. Lawrence as a 5-seed is probably too high, especially when Rowan will go 9-1 with their only loss coming to Montclair. By the way, Montclair winning out and beating C-State next week will hopefully be enough to avoid MU coming east.

And I don't know about you guys, but I'm becoming a major, MAJOR Norwich fan this coming week. Hopefully their power running game gives Maritime the test they haven't come CLOSE to having all season. I'm hard on Maritime, but when a perfectly-good 9-1 or 8-2 East team has to sit home or at an ECAC game because of a 10-0 team being sent on a suicide mission in the playoffs after not playing anyone all year, it sorta frustrates me.

As PC pointed out SUNY Maritime will not have any effect on any other team from the East making the NCAAs...

Anything they do or don't do is irrelevant to any Pool C hopeful in the East...

Here's my revised East prediction.

1) Montclair "A" (10-0)
2) Delaware Valley "A" (9-1)
3) Alfred "A" (9-1)
4) Rowan "C" (9-1)
5) St. John Fisher "C" (9-1)
6) SUNY Maritime "B" (10-0)
7) NEFC Rep "A"
8) St. Lawrence "A" (6-4)

maxpower

I love how there are all these ultra-specific ranking predictions, yet no one will take a stab at the NEFC winner :).

St. Lawrence is already 4-4.

And so they are...

I missed that Utica game in the middle...

I don't think the committee has to adhere to the rankings in setting the bracket.  That's how the Texas teams and the west coast teams play each other every year, regardless of where they actually fall.  Maybe that wouldn't apply for the East though given the concentration of teams.  But I still think a non-East undefeated team will get moved into the bracket - be it Mount Union, Wesley, etc.

I talked with a few AU parent about the quote from Bailey, and while I think the quote was blown way out p proportion, they were upset by it and I am sure that played a roll. here is my drunk 2 cents. Seckey is a great QB but his dad is a Dick. I know that will blast the karma, but I talked with him most of the 2nd half, and he is a jerk.
Hahah I find this amusing...care to elaborate?

I want to take this opportunity to apologize for my post yesterday. I realized this morning as I woke up hungover that In a alcohol aided bad decision I was going after a guy for not really being classy, yet there is nothing less classy than anonymously posting on this board about a guy who doesn't have a chance to defend himself (and really shouldn't have to). Sorry Guys.

Despite the outcome of the game and the weather I enjoyed my first trip to Mayberry for a football game. The new turf and grandstand look great.
GO FISHER!!!

Actually, I don't think we can take any team for granted!!  However, our nemesis looms.  No getting around it.
