For anyone interested, kickoff for today's game at Merrill Field between the Saxons and Rochester Yellowjackets will be at 12:30 p.m. The time was changed to facilitate a soccer doubleheader. Apparently said change was not passed along to D3football.com Also, the game is being webcast:

This game should be over early...

UR doesn't have the offense to hang with AU...

That's what we said about RPI... ???

If UR still had their RB I wouldn't have said that...

However, he's out, so UR is a dead duck...

You obviously need a mascot lesson.  U of R is this:

Not this:

Fisher will look more like this:

I meant UR but subliminally it came out SJF.   ;)

Yeah, we're clowns...

We know it...

Bombers will have heavy hearts as one of their main players lost their 26 year old brother in a freak accident yesterday.  In what's sure to be an already emotional game (senior day) the player still wanted to play.  Shows his commitment to his teammates and how much football means to some people and how its more than just a game..

RIP and Go Bombers.

Sad to hear...

Thoughts and prayers are with the IC players and the family...

That's awful Bomber... here's doubly hoping the Bombers can pull out a win in support.

Bomber3 sent you a PM.
Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit.

Man, my head hurts.  I think I blacked out after that Fisher game.  Had the craziest dreams about Bullwinkle and B52s.  Where am I?  What day is it?  What's happened?!?
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

Yup...

I've been stung...

Thoughts on the games:

Fisher-- Nothing to say. Frostburg was walking into a angry Fisher team, and had no shot

IC/Utica-- Best effort of the season for the Bombers. Kind of a sloppy game all around with seven turnovers. Bombers offense sputtered in the second half but Utica just looked awful. You're not going to win a road game against a team like IC with four fumbles. 40th straight winning season for the Bombers (I think).

Alfred-- Ugh. I hate to say it, but this is the kind of game that's keeping Alfred's program down. I know it doesn't affect the conference race at all, and with a win next week they get it, but to lose a game at home to a 1-5 Rochester team...

I want to say it was a trap game, what with it coming after a big win, and IC on the horizon, but frankly, that's not the case here, because I don't believe it should have mattered with the quality of Rochester.

This week will tell us a LOT about Alfred's team. They've got an IC team that's traditionally beat them coming off of two very good wins. The Saxons have to put this one behind them quickly and not let the season spiral. I think they'll be ok, but you just never know how a team will react to a really bad loss.

Bad loss is an understatement...

That could have been the biggest win in recent history for UofR...

UR came out and had a nice game plan.  They used a ton of wildcat with what basically looked two extra lineman in the backfield 4 yds behind the line of scrimmage on each side of the QB and the WR at QB 7 yards deep.  They brought a WR in motion across the formation and had both lineman run into the line, the QB either handed off or took it (he mostly took it)...

It was a nice wrinkle that accounted for the last offensive TD by UofR...

Secky looked off today and UR was getting good pressure on him...
