Fixed. Guess I thought UR was an E8 team. D'oh.

Consider that every week I've done this, the #1 team has lost. In other words, I'm cursing the CRAP out of Mount Union.

1) MU
2) DelVal
3) NJAC champ (whoever it is)
4) ???
5) E8 champ
6) SUNY Maritime
7) NEFC Champ
8) St. Lawrence

Last teams out: #3 in NJAC, Lycoming, IC

To be totally honest, I don't know what the tiebreaker procedure is in the NJAC. And also, to be totally honest, I can't make a decision on which of the three teams (Rowan, C-State, Montclair) would be left out if the postseason started now. Obviously, if C-State was to make it four losses in a row against my Bombers at Cortaca, that would make the decision very easy. :)

In other headlines, Maritime gained some more respect in my book. Norwich isn't great, but they beat St. Lawrence and can run the ball.

well, if E8 champ is AU, then you gotta find room for SJF at #4 or they are the last out along with #3 from NJAC

Very true. Fixed the bracket, didn't fix the "last teams out."

At least I know people are reading!

I know it's a big stretch, but how about seeding Del Val #1 and adding in one from the NJAC & E-8. This would be a test for the East in the playoffs.
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

I just realized that AU was at home for that disaster....
Are you kidding me?
You beat Fisher soundly and yet you lose to U of R?
It seems like AU put all of their eggs in one basket.
Even if they beat IC and that seems like a good sized if....It still looks like Fisher is also in with a win WITH A BETTER RECORD.
WOw.

Unfortunately, that won't happen. They want a "beast from the East," and while DelVal is certainly a solid, upper-echelon team, their loss to Wesley eliminates them from 1-seed consideration.

What might make for a solid bracket, though, is moving WESLEY to the East. I get that they're in Delaware, but their matchup with SLU is just barely within the 500-mile rule. It may make for a nice change of pace.

The problem is that both North Central and Mount Union may be deserving of #1 seeds... and they are both in the "North" .  Since MTU is closest, they are the logical solution.

Yes, I'm serious.  If this team goes 8-2 who says they can't get in.  The 2008 team got in with two losses.  I know other things have to fall in place but I've stated before that with their schedule they deserve a bid if they go 8-2.  Winning 80% of your games (including possibly beating 3 conference champions) with a top 10 in the nation SOS would warrant an at large bid. They also have a shot at the league AQ if Springfield wins @ Fisher and IC beats Alfred.  So yes dude, seriously.

They are not getting in with a pool C if they go 8-2, just stop with the dreaming now...

It's AQ or bust, and that's a longshot at best...

well
UMU coming out to the east looks written in stone, but let me ask this
is this year THE year that an east team knocks off the mighty purple raiders?
they havent exactly been lighting teams up like they used too

just askin

If it's going to happen this year might be the East's best shot...

unfortunately, its a heck of alot more likely than any of us thought UR beating AU at Merrill was...
