OK, so what is going to be the key to IC beating AU, or AU beating IC? I know what I am rooting for as a Fisher fan, but I would love to hear what some IC and AU fans have to say about it. IC looked good yesterday, and AU, well you know. What can I expect?

I think Ithaca's going to need to get after Secky and pressure him into mistakes. Their run defense has been excellent, so they'll need to make Alfred one-dimensional. Offensively, expect IC to keep throwing early and often

Based on AU's performance on Saturday, I expect us to go 6-4.  Ithaca just has to show and play an average game.

Wow, things have really dropped off for the Saxons faithful considering they're in the exact same spot they were last week...

If you had been there as I was you would be thinking similar thoughts.  Maybe I will be able to step back a bit later this week, but it was pathetic Saterday.

I watched it, but I can understand. In their defense, it was inevitable that there would be some kind of a letdown, what with that random OOC game smack in the middle of the two biggest games of the season

I expected a letdown, not a meltdown.  And stop trying to cheer me up ;)

Here is hoping for that!!!!
Lets Go Bombers...Ugh, that tastes bad even as I say it.
GO FISHER!!!

boobyhasgameyo

mmmm Fisher dropped out of the top 25 (they are number 26) and were jumped by Rowan and Cortland...Alfred losing caused Fisher to be jumped by them no doubt, so thanks for that.  I believe Rowan and Cortland to be two very good teams but I don't think they are currently better than Fisher.  Oh well, such is life.  I think if Fisher wins next week over a solid Springfield team they will jump back in.  Goooo E8!!!

You have to remember that Ithaca also has Cortland coming up.  That game might determine if the other NJAC teams get a pool C bid.  Still a small chance it helps Ithaca.  Stranger things have happened.

And if SUNY Maritime loses to Gallaudet, does that kill their chances?

You guys are good and hope the NCAA Committee remembers that. ::)
It ain't over till it's over, and when you get to the fork in the road, take it.

I think the NJAC should get a Pool C, but you never know. This past Saturday was a War at Cortland. Time will tell and who will get it if we do get it. ???

Good thing the NCAA doesn't use the D3fb.com top 25 poll to pick the playoff teams...

I'm ALMOST tired of writing and reading "The Poll has nothing to do with..."
