We looked a little shaky in the first quarter, but eventually settled down.  Good win.  Can't wait to find out who we play!!

On Saxon Warriors!!

Good luck Saxons.

For the second year in a row, we'll have Dr. Joy Solomen, Chair of the tournament selection committee on ITH tomorrow night - shows starts at 7:30 PM ET.

Please post your questions on the Playoffs thread once the selections have been made so we can work them into our interview accordingly (we'll have plenty of our own, but always open to input).

You can tune into ITH - www.inthehuddLLe.com - to hear the interview with Dr. Solomen as well as catch a live reading of the ECAC match ups - given teams like SJF  and Springfield are still in the running for those - as we expect to get those around 8:00-30 PM ET and plan to announce them live on the show.

I was just thinking that myself. Good for them. Hopefully AU can make some noise in the tournament this year. I see that Cortand has a home game as well. Any word on when the ECAC bowl games will be announced?

Still? We've had the bracket up for five and a half hours that says otherwise.

any word on the ecacs?

I got a text from the Fisher athletics page that said Fisher is hosting RPI at noon on Saturday. I am still very disapointed with the outcome of this season for Fisher, but at least they can still go off with a win. I am hoping that they take it seriously and play well, but you never know with these bowl games. As a fan I want them to win and get to 9 wins at least.

Anyone have info on what I should expect from RPI?

The AU website now says the game is home for AU.  The headline says "SAXONS TO PLAY AT MARITIME COLLEGE IN FIRST-ROUND NCAA PLAY-OFF GAME".  Then, in the article, it says that AU will be hosting the game because Maritime can't host even though they are the higher seeded team.  As Pep would say, "On Saxon warriors!".

Now Max, if you look closely, I was responding to Pat Coleman who had asked a question only 24 minutes earlier.  Here's hoping home-field is an advantage for the Saxons!
