So I know it's early, but the best game of the day so far might be Franklin vs. UWW.... 7-7 in the 2nd.

I didn't think the game would be close but I didn't think it would be this kind of beatdown.

Wonder if the people voting for SUNY-Maritime in the coaches' poll are scratching their heads. I know our voters aren't.

is it something as simple as the quality difference between the E8 and the ECFC?

Well, Norwich has gone 11-2 in the conference over the past two years, after going 1-23 in the E8 over the last four seasons. So there's obviously a massive difference in quality when Norwich instantly moves from a joke to a contender.

But even so, 50-0? I mean, wow. Anyone know how these are going down? Lots of turnovers? Punt returns? Maritime only bringing 22 players?
-6 yards total offense in the first half. ouch.
WOW

Bailey is out of the game now, and that probably ends one of the best careers in the history of Fisher Football. Congrats to him on that. I wish he could have had his shot at an NCAA game, but 3 straight ECAC Bowl wins is still a quality career.
GO FISHER!!!

why did they bench him so early?

BoSox0322

I agree let him play at least thru the 3rd

My guess would be to avoid "running up the score".  Maybe?  You never know when you could see RPI again in the future.  Just a thought, who knows the real reason.

14-14 - I guess somebody forgot to tell Franklin they aren't supposed to be able to hang with the DNCs..

What was the final in the SJFC game?  Bailey was a great QB.  Who does Fisher have as a backup for next season?

I thought it was because of the score, but then Fisher ran a double reverse flea flicker on 3rd down?
GO FISHER!!!

RPI doesn't have an easily manipulatable drum corps behind the end zone, so Fisher has to pump itself up in other ways....

So for next year, Fisher will have Borum, Kramer, Miller, and Zemaitis back. Also Francis and Schmit will be back. Is there reason to be optimistic, or is the loss of Bailey and almost the entire O-line just too much to overcome?
GO FISHER!!!

cards- no zem...his career is done.

o and d line gets decimated.
not thinking that this is going to be a season to look forward to.
