We're told tailgating starts at 3 in Utica, lot A.  We'll have extra provisions for visitors.

Looking forward to listening to Peter and Gene call the Fisher game this weekend!
If ya cant be there- they are a great team.

I'm still trying to make the call on going to the Fisher game tonight or not. I don't know how many I can make this year so Gene and Peter may have a new biggest fan. I thought most fisher games were streamed on the internet, but I guess this one isn't,

I am very interested to see what fisher has against an improved Buff State team. I think the offense will be better than anticipated. Ill say Fisher 34 - Buff State 14

GO CARDS!!!!
GO FISHER!!!

AU is just playing with RPI.  The score is 48-17 in the 4th.  O-line for AU is dominating the game.

It's nice to be able to watch the game on the computer.  I'm hoping to get to the AU-SLU game next week.  Hoping to see PEP.  AU just won 48-17.  Is the Liberty League down this year?  UC is being favored by some over Union.  That would've been unthinkable a few years ago.  UC thumped SLU last week (forget the score, I was there) and UC is picked to finish 6th in the Empire 8.

The LL was awful last season, and early returns are not looking great right now...

To say the LL is down is well...the truth  :'(

Not one mention of the Ithaca game?  It wasn't a blowout like some were fearing, I'm curious to hear about the game.

Not much to say. It wasn't as close as the score indicated, the Bombers' lack of an offense is going to kill them. The defense will keep it interesting most games, but there's not a whole lot to see on offense

It's a shame bombers because the defense seems pretty solid. dlip thinks the O will come around it just may take some time with the youth behind center (Neumann) and/or the lack of experience (Hendel). dlip looks forward to welcoming the Bombers to Frank Bailey next week. dlip always has a ton of respect for the Bombers!

If the stats are right, Utica is only down 10-9 to Union at the half. They just need to get over that hump. They need to finish.

Well, let's take a look at some E8 action...

IC-Salisbury has been covered, but the Sea Gulls defense may carry them to an E8 title.

Utica-Union: Huge win for the Pioneers. Looked like Union was taking control but Benkwitt rallied the team. Union looked better on offense, but the defense struggled. Dutchmen have a winnable game at home against IC next, and they need to strike or the season could get real ugly, real quick.

Fisher-Buff State: This game reminded me a lot of IC-Brockport, where you wondered if the home team would wind up costing themselves a win. The Cardinals hung on, but you have to hope the offense was just experiencing some first game jitters. Boyes has Buff State ready to play, but clearly, does not have the horses on the offensive side of the ball.

Alfred whipped RPI pretty easily. Saxons should challenge for the E8 title.

Springfield-Frostburg: Surprisingly, Frostburg hung with them for a half, but ran out of gas in the 2nd frame. Someone disconcerting on the defensive side for the Pride

E8 remains unbeaten in OOC play
