Looking forward to the weekly pre-game predictions from the cognoscenti.....

I wonder if Brockport could move into that spot.  I don't know the intricacies of the event, but it seems like it would be good to keep it within Rochester area Schools.

Or Nazareth.

I'm not kidding, field a team of Naz girls. Will the Cardinals' physical advantage overcome their stupefaction at seeing attractive women for the first time? I say 6-0 SJF after Kramer snaps out of it at the last second and runs one in.

That would be a good move. Might help, too, if Brockport moved into the E8 for football so they have more than one available date, given their NJAC schedule now includes nine games. That would make the Courage Bowl a conference game, and Brockport could also continue its Thruway Bowl with Buffalo State, also being an E8 conference game.

Pep, can't wait until tomorrow.  I will see you and the band at Growney.  On the home side again (groan).  But I cannot see the game from the visiting "stands".  It is going to be tough waiting until 4PM!!

On the flip side, it was SJF's 1st OOC loss to a NY school in 17 games, so you could take that as a bigger sign of weakness than getting throttled by an in conference rival such as SC, every other year as it seems.

Actually, Fisher had won 19 OOC games against NY schools since their loss to RPI on 11/19/05.  ATE made a mention of 17 straight wins against NY schools which works out to the Wick loss in 2007 is you ignore Alfred as a NY school.

Ask and ye shall receive...

Alfred-SJF: Which SJF will we get? The one who crushed Rochester, or the one who GOT crushed by Hobart? That alone determines if this is a close game or an Alfred rout.

Salisbury-Utica: Not something Utica fans want to see after a 20-point loss at the OTHER Maryland E8 school. The Pioneers need to be better if they want to stand a chance against the explosive Salisbury offense.

Ithaca-Hartwick: Can IC keep their offense going at The Cage, a place they've struggled at in their last two visits?

Springfield-Merchant Marine: Gotta love Springfield scheduling a rigorous OOC schedule.

PICKS

Alfred over SJF: Best-case, it's a shootout that Alfred's offense wins. Worst-case, it's a 35-10 or so game when SJF's offense can't move the ball and the defense can't stop Secky and company.

Salisbury over Utica: Utica should benefit from being at home, but Salisbury's a better team than the one that thumped UC two weeks ago.

Ithaca over Hartwick: As I've said earlier, on paper, IC should roll, but the locale could make this closer than it should be.

Springfield over Merchant Marine: Ugly.

I cant look forward to the Fisher game any less.
I like to listen to Gene and Peter, but this one may be on in the background......
Safe travels to the AU faithful and lets hope for a competitive game.....

Does anyone know of anywhere the AU-SJF game is going to be streamed over the internet?  I'd much rather watch this game than any DI game on tv.

An AU loss this weekend would surprise me.  This Saxon squad seems more focused than the group that lost two games to so-so opponenents last year.  But a loss would not be a SHOCK.  Stranger things have happened.  With that said,

On Saxon Warriors!!

Bills and Fisher agree to a multi year deal to keep Bills training camp at Fisher. Fisher will create a new grass field where the tennis courts currently are....This is great news for Fisher!

You should be able to watch the game with this link.  It's not ESPN but the camera work is decent and the commentators are not as bad as some that make a whole lot of money.
