Now this is just ducky. Guessing Pep should get his ducks in a row before spouting off. Reacting to Charles makes Pep a sitting duck. Pep should have just let it go....like water off a duck's back. Pep is just going to duck out now.

On Quackson Warriors!

Pep now thinks he has his ducks in a row and would love to take the band to Beverly, MA to battle the Endicott Gulls. No more ducking out.

But, for now, it's off to Bridgewater on a bear hunt....would rather be playing Endicott.

On Quackson Warriors!

On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!

Didn't Fisher travel up to Maine a few years back to win an ECAC game?  What would distance have to do with anything?...

In other news... I'm rounding up some people here in the DC area and gearing them up in Fisher apparel for the trip to Johns Hopkins on Saterday.  Looking forward to getting there and finding the Kramer's to tailgate!  Anyone else going and can give me some insider info on where to go?  I'm thinking about getting to JH by 10ish.

First time this season I'll be able to watch them so I'm very excited!

hey Robby...glad to hear you are going to game....wish 82 could make the trip.  See the thing is, I must admit that 2 weeks ago after we lost to Salisbury I ok'd Mrs 82 to schedule the twins' 4th b-day party for Saterday....instead of Sunday.  She recalls that every year I am glued to the radio listening to either ECAC game or playoff game during their party so she kindly presented Sunday as an option.....but, because D3.com gave us no shot for the NCAA bid ( ;)), I said just do it Saterday and I promised I wouldnt give a crap about listening to another ECAC game...

....well, now look what I went and done

....try getting 82 away from the radio this Saterday.... :o

p.s.  the twins were born on a Saterday 11/17/2007 while  SJF was laying the lumber to 'Bart in the 2007 opening round...well the 'punt fake' from their own 10 yd line certainly helped

82 does fully expect to make a return trip to DVC, next Saterday, to avenge the 2004 loss.

Safe travels to the game and bring 'back' a W!!!

The last 3 minutes of the game still get my goat...

Such crazy finish...

YEH...no ish...82 was there.  After the game a certain coach (i am sure you can figure it out) was revealing to 82 and another alum his feelings about another certain coach's decision to be passing on 3 and 7 at the end when as I recall, DVC had no timeouts

Not being a wise guy when asking this...but can someone tell me exactly what happened at the end of the game?  Am I mistaken that you guys (Fisher) were down the whole game...then took the lead late, only to have Del Valley score to win in the final seconds?

'82- Come on!!! Have the twins come down to Baltimore for their party... They'd find more than enough entertainment around that city while you can come hang out w/ me and some rowdy friends!

If we do come out with a win, I will try to make the trip the next week to DVC as I don't believe that's too far from DC either.  I have a bunch of co-workers coming with me to the game (at least they say they are for now) who grew up in Rochester and work down in DC w/ me.  Them and the Mrs will be sporting old #25 jerseys (don't tell anyone I have them)  ;)

As for the DVC game of '04 Yanks... by the act of god the headsets broke down and the coaches couldn't communicate from the box.  I remember being in the huddle w/ a DVC cornerback standing about 2 feet outside it listening to what we were going to call (our dumb fault for letting it happen) and we came out and threw a pick.  They proceeded to score w/ hardly any time left.  I think it was their 3rd comeback win in as many weeks?  I could be wrong though.  What a rough day to play though- the place was a mud pit in certain areas.  This guy loved the conditions though  8-)

DVC scored twice in the last 4 minutes to overcome.  The winning score came after a 3 and 7 interception return to SJF 15 yd line.  The int was a pass that should have ben a run as DVC had no time outs.  Had they run the ball and punted, DVC woulda had a long field, little time and no timeouts, instead of huge momentum at the 15 going in with time and field position no longer an issue

We ran for like 10,000 yds that game as I recall, but who knows it was probably my imagination...

Thanks guys...wasn't trying to bring up bad memories on this one...I just remembered something "different" going down that game...

what you may remember is that DVC passed for over 440 yds that game and had 600+ total offense.  SJF did rush for 245yds courtesy of RunninRobby25...not quite 10,000, but close.

DVC scored a TD with 1:02 remaining to tie it and with .09 left to win it.  So punting wasnt going to win it, but OT woulda been better than the int to the boundary.  Plus our QB completed like 8 passes that game, so maybe a delayed handoff to the guy with 245 woulda been more prudent...

Upstate

Actually 82, Fitz (who is UC's offensive coordinator right now) was 5/18 for 43 yards.  He had an amazing year that year w/ 2400yds & 30 TDs but it just wasn't going for him that day...

Are there any E8 schools in or around the Boston area?

I'm trying to collect something from each DIII football program. My wife might be headed out that way next weekend, and I might have her stop and pick something up for me?

Much appreicated!!

maxpower

If she's coming from the East, there's Springfield College. Also Amherst College and WNEC out there.

Non-E8 DIII schools around Boston: Curry, Endicott, Framingham St., MIT, Mt. Ida, Tufts, Worcester St., WPI, and others I'm sure I can't think of. I doubt she'd want to stop at all of 'em...
